Gun show was a bust for what I was looking for. It was pretty well picked over since this was last day of show.

I did find a CZ75 compact for $500, but I decided I would rather have the P-01 when I was able to handle them side by side and the two I found were priced too high.

Looked for a good lower but all that was left were the super custom weird shaped ones, lowers in the $300+ range, and a few cheap ones but nothing I really liked.

Fondled a lot of guns tho.

Almost took home a new Glock 48. I normally don't like Glocks but that one felt nice. Priced right too at $450 but since it wasn't anything I was looking for I decided to wait till I find a used one locally for less.

Bought a bunch of jerky and went home.

Just found out Sig makes an XL version of the P365. I did not see any of those at the show. I was looking at the 365, thought it would be a nice upgrade from my Walther PPS I've carried for 10 years, so I played with a bunch of them, never saw an XL. Looks like the XL is a direct competition to the G48, but it looks better and has a smaller grip front to back, which I prefer. The G48 felt like my PPS, so it felt natural. I'm gonna have to get my hands on both side by side to decide.

I had fun. I regret passing on that one though.

I'll get my hands on one soon.

Well that overnight sucked. Didn't sleep the flight in from Beijing and woke up at 1am in my hotel and haven't slept since.

Finished a book... Gonna just give up and go to the airport. Maybe I'll just hang out in the lounge.

Ahh, Monday morning, drinking some Mocha Java blend coffee, listening to a YouTube video on precision reloading while checking in here. Too rainy for the range today, perhaps tomorrow, I've got some 45 Colt loads to test for accuracy in my BFR single action revolver. Today I'll be loading up some .45 ACP rounds.

Went to "It's a Grind" coffee and got myself a large Americano, black. Picked up some steak and chuck roast at Sam's club, dropped off and picked up some dry cleaning, and now I need to make a trip to Costco because Sam's ain't had no pork belly... and I need some Kirkland Signature Premium vanilla ice cream.

Same thing here. Costco always has it, Sam's never seems to anymore.

I'd drop Sam's, but they're the only place that carries the coffee I like and some baking supplies I need. Brick wall

Busy weekend reorganizing the house, wife let me do the bathroom, Hall closet, and the kitchen. I really hate clutter. She doesn't like it totally yet since she doesn't know where things are but probably things in places that makes sense is what I did, not just where ever there is room. I even cleared up a whole shelf and a drawer in the kitchen, I told her we can put the baby bottles on the shelf when baby gets here instead of leaving then I'm there drying rack and taking up the whole thing. The closet has an entire shelf free too, told her, I did that so she can buy more things for herself (trying to make her happy about it) think I'm gonna just relax when I get home, don't want to upset her too much more.

Puppies are poorly designed... Can you imagine a 6 week old human having full walking and running abilities but no bladder control?

My local Costco opens at 10am and it is packed from the time it opens until it closes. Parking lot is always full. Gas lines are always long. No extra time for plus members.

Sam's Club opens at 7am for plus members until 10am. Not nearly as packed as Costco, plenty of parking, and gas lines not as bad.

Costco does have some things that Sam's doesn't, so I keep the Costco regular membership and the Sam's Club plus membership.

Went to take the Vette for a morning cruise. Dead battery. Jumped it with the Honda. Not enough juice. Had to call AAA to jump start it and drove around for 45 minutes to charge. Dead battery. Bought a new one but it was a two hour job trying to fit it into such a small space inside a fender well. Skinned knuckles, cussing, pissed.

Finally done. I need a cigar and a beer.

Damn, Rick, that blows. But look at the bright side... you have a Vette to take for a spin.

I will have pork belly burnt ends by game time, and I already have a glass of scotch. BigGrin

Well, there is cayenne pepper in both my dry rub and my barbecue sauce, so I guess after I eat them my other end will be burnt.
