I have ordered a wineador from his website (not entirely sure if I can post his page or not) he sells custom wineadors. I ordered it a while ago and website says 2-3 weeks shipping. I expected some delays with the holidays maybe an extra week or so, well it's going on week 7. I have sent two emails and got no reply, they are still updating Facebook page. There is no listed phone number on site, email contact only. They have been around for 10 yearsi believe and have nothing but great reviews from what I have found. But it's going to the point of my calling up my credit card company and reversing the charge of I don't hear anything soon. I mean I understand custom work takes some time, but at least send me an email update letting me know there is a delay. Anyone got any ideas?

Any business will have a contact number. The website should have it listed. Already seems sketchy if they don’t. And if so, google their info and find their number and contact them immediately. If you don’t get solid information on your product right away, contact your credit card company ASAP.

Keep us informed. Good luck with it...

It's a one man show and I'm sure I could find a phone number if I must. But I know it's a legit place recommended by people on cigar pages that I have seen and on YouTube of guys unboxing his stuff. And his shop is only open Tuesday to Thursday which is fine for a part time job/hobby for wood working. I use to do custom wood work when I was a carpenter but I haven't done that stuff for over 13 years now and would not want to get everything I would need. I rather pay a BOTL who does great work from what I've seen

So I actually found through using Reddit which I have never used before is that this is very common of him, website says 2-3 weeks, actually takes 8+ weeks and never responds to emails about shipping. But everyone says that once you get the product you will be extremely happy. So I guess it seems I will let it in a month or so, who knows. This was suppose to be a Christmas gift to myself.

There is a guy in Chandler, Az who does wineadores 700 count for $385. Is that the guy?

I had ordered shelving and drawers from him when I was putting together my wineador. I dont remember the exact turntime, but it was definitely a while, around the 2 month mark I believe. But as people have said, I know he does it by himself. Anyways, when the stuff came in it definitely looked great. This was probably 4 years ago, and the setup is still fantastic. Took a while, which I read beforehand, however the work was definitely good and fit perfectly.

I thought I saw him post about not doing them anymore either. Now that you can buy the wineadors already made fore about same price as his shelves alone are I thought he couldn't compete anymore.

Thank you for the help and the laughs. This guy is out of Idaho, I talked with him or his wife via email before I ordered so he still is around at least. I had a question about if the unit was one with a lock or not and got a response on a Saturday night with in 20 minutes of sending the first email, then I asked for additional pictures and got them back right away. Now no emails. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks since everything I'm seeing on this Reddit thing. If it falls through I will go from there to the credit card I used and find someone else to use. Thanks

Finally got back to me and apologized for the delay, I guess the zebrawood I ordered for the fronts took longer than expected. Unit is built and curing now. And will send soon. Can't wait to get it

Still waiting on shipment. FedEx shipping label created on April 28th. Highly suggest avoiding ordering from this guy. I can be very patient but this is ridiculous.

I've seen quite a few guys get stuff from him over the years. Some just order the made to fit trays, and ALL mention that he is gonna take quite a long while to finish. I would imagine he's a perfectionist and all I have ever seen are positive comments and results once they receive their order. Patience is definitely required for high quality wood work.

So after basically 7 months of waiting, and a whole bunch of emails I disputed the charge on my credit card. Got my money back. Let's see if he contacts me now. And recommendations on who else to order one from?

Forrest sounds like your typical woodworker. Love what they do but aren’t good businessmen.

My Dad was a cabinetmaker and from the stories I’ve heard, was too much of a perfectionist to allow “bad” product to go out the door. Learned at his services that the pulpit the priest used for his sermon was made by my Dad. My oldest brother said he recalled when it was being built and the large number of bandsaw blades broken during the process. My Dad built the pulpit out of one piece of wood so it must have been one hell of a project!

Oh, and of course he donated it to the church. d'oh!

I would stay away from Wineadors.com, Forrest is still at it as of 10/2021. Ordered five cigar wood shelves and after several back and forth e-mails he provided a UPS tracking link on 8/23 and to date UPS says its never even received a package, only the label created. Radio silence from Price and will not respond to e-mails. Of course he fights the credit card dispute. Not sure how a guy like this continues to remain in business (using that term lightly). If your debating purchasing anything from this fraudster heed the warnings, he will steal your money and leave you with nothing.

Also the folks making excuses for him like "he's a good woodworker", "he doesn't have time for communication", "just a bad business man", etc. That's BS, then stop taking orders if your that busy set the expectation pre-sale.

The fact that he was responsive when I was inquiring pre-sales about the shelving and up to payment then all of a sudden he can't answer anymore e-mails ought to tell you something about how this guy works. FRAUD!

Also, don't take my word for it:

I agree with scarrz, I also placed an order with Wineadors.com in October of 2021 and have not heard anything from Forrest Price. He responded quickly to my request for a custom humidor drawer and sent a payment request the same day. I paid the invoice and have heard nothing since then, despite sending 5 emails requesting an update. I did file a complaint with the BBB with proof of emails and payment. I ordered from him back in 2012 and had no issues, but no such luck this time. I would steer clear if I were you guys.

Prolly should get Drafter and Frank to pay him a visit. Idaho is a bit out of the way though, so there will be some travel expenses involved.

NINE years, rantz? Nine looong years?
And this is where I find you, in this God forsaken forum?

You didn't write.
You never called.
Your mother and I were worried sick...SICK!

Good luck with your custom human drawer or whatever sick chit you've been doing with the money we sent, but just know we are done with you.

It’s a scam, This guy is definitely fraud. I ordered from him on February 9, 2021. I never received it or shipping information. I emailed numerous times to no end and never got a reply. Waste of money. Learned my lesson the hard way.

I ordered from him quite a few years ago and had the same issue. Not sure why he continues to promise such a quick turn around when he isn’t even close to that. I’m sure if you search this forum you’ll find other discussions about this same issue with him. I eventually grew restless when the weeks turned into months, but I eventually got my shelves and they were perfect. I don’t mind a wait if I know that going in, but if I need a quick turn around due to it being a gift I’d look elsewhere and save the heartache. A simple google search for wineador Forrest will provide many similar threads over various forums.
