Nicely done, Gunner.

I had errands to run. Pick up dry cleaning, get some lunch, drop a feral cat off at the local wineries... you know, the usual stuff.

So I am now officially an intro to cave certified diver.
I'm allowed to penetrate caves (and your mother's) up to 1/6 my total gas supply.

Suck it you losers sitting up top in daylight and air.

Drove up towards Yosemite, got some air... And some Krispy kreme... Now some Starbucks so I don't fall asleep after the copious amounts of marijuana I'm about to smoke...

Sorry to hear about your dad. He is only 67? That makes you what? We will have to start calling you Monkeyboy again. May be good it brought to light other issues? Rehab can be quicker recovery.

I feel bad that I was unaware of the issues - he’s only 2.5 hours away (not for long). And to answer your question, late 40’s. I’ll take Monkeyboy. Unfortunately, I’m having to play patriarch way to early.

Sorry to hear about dadmonkey and hope for a complete recovery. Falls are a real problem for older folks but 60's is young unless it was activity related.

Lack of activity is what we're battling. Have learned through this that he actually developed a couch sore. Lost all drive after the MIL passed a couple years back

Work called offering double time tonight.

...right after I downed my third beer. Had to say no.

Spose I could try to nap and go in at 11. But I think i'll pack a bowl inna cob and head to the garage for another beer instead.

They put double time on the table for tomorrow night, so I think I'll just plan on that.

in the old 500 when shaking the AIDS came up, MACS wrote:

I dunno, man... Magic Johnson did it.

I've long had a theory about this.
OK, OK, I'll share it.

The dude was screwing everything in sight for years.
One day, wife Cookie said "Ervin, I will leave you and take everything including the children unless you stop screwing everything in sight".

Of course, Magic promised...but being a sharp Cookie, she said "I'm gonna need some insurance cuz you won't change. We need to make you untouchable".

And then she made him go on International TV and announce he had the AIDS.

And how do I know he doesn't have the Aids? Cuz the fat **** gained 300 pounds since then and has the energy of a dog sled team.
And this started when most people died or at least looked like starving Biafrans after a few months.

He never had it, but Cookie has the ballz in the fam.

^Interesting theory, Frank. We don't hear a lot about the HIV/Aids any more, though. Why is that, I wonder?

Hep C used to be incurable. They got a cure now...

HIV is still prevalent, but it's "old news" because its so widespread. So each new case isn't newsworthy.

I personally see probably about one HIV+ person a month at my small hospital. About equal numbers of HepC folk.

HA! I thought that may garner a little more attention. Like, wait, whut?

The kitty is getting old. She pooped on my bathroom rug twice. She don't get a third shot, so she's living on the back patio (covered) in a small feline house with a heated bed.

Some feral toms come around to eat her food and I trap them and cart them 10 miles away to the local wineries. Shelter would euthanize them so I figure they have a fighting chance against the coyotes, and the wineries would appreciate them catching any vermin.

Wife just made fresh squeezed margaritas.

Already been drinking all day, smoking a chicken in the garage and stuff. This is gonna push me over the edge.

LOL. I laid out in my garden for 2 hours in a ghillie suit and match grade air rifle to pop this freaking rabbit that was decimating our green beans. Little bastage ate an entire row right down to the deck. Cleaned the neighbors out too. The son of a beach was an educated rabbit, and bolted if he thought he heard a human. I'd been trying for awhile, but in the evening, his preferred dining hour, there are a ton of women out walking all the time. Same problem, see Man + Air Rifle, equals "GUN 911!" I don't need that drama. The popo know me but still.

So I ghillied up, flaked out between the rhubarb and asparagus patches to wait. Sure as hell Peter came hopping over. I popped that sucker, gave it a bit to let any interest from the sound die down, then scared the living **** out of my neighbor when I stood up. LOL. I didn't see him in his yard, bad angle over the fence. He hadn't seen me either. He liked to crapped his pants. Took 2 beers to calm him down.

Been easy since. All the new rabbits are dumb, and they don't get 2nd chances. ThumpUp

Other than the death of the spouse as a trigger, this sounds very familiar. It appears, at this point, that I am going to be parenting him. He obviously needs it, although I’d like him to push back a bit rather than coalescing to everything I say we’re going to do.

I can understand that but we could definitely go with some more acquiescence on our end.. We've been met with a consistent "you kids can't tell me how to live" mindset. It's trying.

Robert... I also happened to train on Sidemount doubles... So I had 2 steel 85cuft tanks, running about 3300psi each. So first penetration gave me 1100 psi total before turn... Second penetration with those tanks was significantly less, but then I would strap on full ones for the 3rd penetration.
