I have a neighbor who thinks that way. No vaccinating, organic everything, vegetarian and some others. My favorite is for sunburn she uses sour cream on her kids and herself. Me a few buddies always joke that if we ever see her go get the sour cream while we were at a party we are going to go get chips and follow her

heh... don't know a damn thing about their sports teams....
but my closest friend from college loved that city. He eventually lived there for a lot of years, and when I was living in Madison I'd head down to visit a lot. Heck, I even spent a summer interning at a pharma company in the outskirts of chicago.

But I found it combined the worst attitudes of the rural midwest with the ego of a city like NYC.

I still remember my friend relating to me how this girl would refer to some beltway as the N-word 500 because it ran through the black area or something.... and another friend didn't think that was a deal breaker on dating her. The idea that they could find that somewhat normal gave me a real bad taste in my mouth.

My area is nice, most of the areas around me are too. Yes Chicago has some bad areas, but it's not like what most people think

The guy who ended up dating her? Yeah, he didn't seem to think it was a big deal. But I never saw him again. I think my friend stayed in contact with him, but I don't know.

Chicago Bear fans in the mid-80s were the worst. Arrogance over the top of arrogance with additional arrogance. The bad news is Chicagoans are shooting each other at a 7% less rate than last year. (Cigar brothers of course outside of the broad brush with which I paint).

No, no... he clearly got it right. It was best for all that it was a 1 year anomaly.

Ditka shoulda given Walter the ball instead of the Fridge. Probably cursed the team after that.

LOL!

Hey... my team just blew a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl, so if you're looking for sympathy... it's in the dictionary between shit and syphilis.

We are here in spirit at least. I wound up actually working for the first time in a year and a half, yesterday, and found out just how out of shape I have allowed myself to become. Talk about an eye opener! I think I howled louder than my hound used to.

Bah! My team rarely has a lead to blow. But when they do, you can bet they'll blow it like a $2 hooker

I'm not speaking from experience mind you... but a $2 hooker probably doesn't blow very well.

Wait... scratch that. Where are we? Thailand? Philippines? Because those places have pretty good $2 hookers. Allegedly.

My favorite Bear of all time has to be Jay Cutler. A real entertainer. Never knew what slight of passing hand would be next.

For $4, I should be able to get a Cutler jersey. Unless they’ve all been burned.
