If they wish to disrespect our flag, that is their Constitutional right. Just like it's my right to not support these America hating spoiled brat children.

Did not see that. I did see Demi someone do an incredible job with the National Anthem. I did see every player (shown) standing - most with hands on their hearts, some even singing. And I did see an awesome flyover.
I also saw a pretty cool honoring of four, 100 year old WWII heroes that they brought out for the coin toss. (My wife was sort pissed that none of the captains went over to shake their hands, but I gave them a pass for being a little distracted by the minor event about to start.)

I liked the thing with the kids at the beginning... Glad my son watched that part... He got kicked out shortly thereafter for being a little pain in the butt, but I'm glad he watched that part...

Meh...
If one is going to have a fit about who's standing at attention and who's not for a national anthem, I would probably start with the president, not a celebrity.

Now personally, I wouldn't start at all. But that's just me.

Sigh. As I'm not a fan of the flyover states, I don't generally blame people for not knowing that KC is in MO. But the f-cking president? The president who has held rallies in KCMO?

But they'll still vote for him. Even though he clearly is an idiot.

Up until everyone ripped on Trump I had no idea KC is split between the states. Eventhough I have now been educated, I still fail to care.

There is certainly a group that believes the Prez has that sort of power when their guy is in.

The boarder is important though. In addition to playing an important role in the civil war the liquor and gun laws differ enough to pay attention to which state you are in.

As for the chiefs they are unfortunately heavily subsidized by Jackson county Missouri and not a dime from Kansas. It’s a Missouri team.

I prolly spelt it so wrong it autocorrected in to that lol.

I will say my spelling has gotten horrible after so many years of spell check. It’s really base because lazy and I notice it buggy when I hand write things.

The funny thing is we all make mistakes. Some of us admit it, others justify it or try to claim it isn’t a mistake.

Yawnnnn....there’s a KC Kansas and a KC Missouri separated by a state line and I’m sure prior to the POTUS’s tweet many people would’ve guessed they were based in Kansas. Just like there are people out there that don’t realize the New York Jets and New York Giants play in a different state or the Los Angeles Angels play in a stadium almost 30 miles away in Anaheim.

it's possible that I don't know anyone having the difficulty you mention...other than a few that hate sports being unable to identify the stadiums.

Trump once owned a pro football franchise.

Yeah, he owned the New Jersey Generals and shared a stadium with those Giants and Jets from the state of New York...and the Generals were in a league that never played in either Kansas City.Think

c'mon. bet every other owner knew. He had to have been somewhat of a fan. I was in Jr High School when the Chiefs were in the Super Bowl and knew it was Kansas City Missouri.

He had Flutie! Doug coulda told him, he was a wicked smaht kid growing up near Boston.

I think that league was another bankruptcy of his. Sued the NFL, won, and was awarded $1...if memory serves.

Kidding aside, I don't really care if he knows or not, but he really should. The man went to Wharton!

He wanted in the NFL so should have known. He’s been butt hurt since they rejected him.

But if it wasn’t wrong he shouldn’t have fixed it.

Went to many bad Generals games around the mid 80’s in Giant’s stadium. Hershel Walker was there big running back. At least the Giants were on there way to a Super Bowl.

One thing for sure, EVERYONE was standing when the National Anthem was played.
