Guys, don't heckle me too bad.....I will provide a bit of context for my first win.

I REALLY did not think I was going to win. I thought this site was probably very legit but at the same time I kept waiting for someone to "snipe me" at the very end of the bidding and win. (Would not have been disappointed in the least)

So what did I win and how much? 5 pack of CAO Nicaraguan something or others....for $11

I know CAO is good. Never had that particular cigar but I have had many CAO's and they're all pretty good, consistently.

Part of the reason I bid is *TO ME* that seemed like a pretty good deal and I wanted to bid just as a proof of concept / experiment type thing. Placing my bid was easy.

Now to my problem....it was too easy. I have a 100 ish sized humidor and a dear neighbor gave me like a coffee table sized humidor that is flat empty. I see lots of cigars in my future. I'm screwed. But screwed cheaper than usual.

I'm not sure that's something I should be proud of. Smh. Herfing

Oh noooooo!

You got bit by the CBid bug! 🕷

Check your Shipping Preferences and win more bids to ship along with your newly won auction to maximize your ROI / shipping charges.

After that cut up all your credit cards! Gonz

A humidor is made to fill. That's its meaning. Its purpose. Your life is empty if you spend it trying to stop the humidor from becoming.

My last auction winnings totaled 280 cigars. It's easy, but you should get a good price for every bid. Don't worry about snipers, but you could take notes for future revenge. Don't get involved in bidding wars, and remember that it will probably be on the next week's auctions again - and if not, you can't smoke them all (unless you are Clint Cigar).
If you really screw up you will find your bid mentioned in the overbid threads (you might wanted to check them from time to time). Can't think of anything to call you other that Kodiak double 8 ball, but I'm sure someone may come up with something. If you stick around, I'll have some questions for you to answer so that we can have an idea of who you really are.

Buy as many Gurkhas as possible. They, along with the CAO Brazil, are by far the best cigars on this site, if not in the world.

Also, ALWAYS overbid a little above MSRP. It's like a tip. Just a tip.

Safe spaces? As in snowflake? Yeah.....so.....a little about me, I live in a very liberal city and I open carry my 9 everywhere. On Tuesday I walked right into a firehouse subs carrying while 10 cops were sitting there eating. (Although to be fair, I was nervous AF doing so but still...I did it anyway.) I'm really not the kind of fellow to be picked on, hazed, harassed. No time for it.

I came in peace, I'll leave in peace.

Peace.

Never going to get platinum membership with this "finally didn't lose a bid" talk. At the risk of speaking for everyone, I believe I supply enough negativity around here to not need more of it.

At the risk of you shooting me with that big bad 9, I’ll just say...
Slowly unbunch your panties and carefully pry them out of your azz crack.
Dude, this is 5th grade!

Do you know the azzhats here MADE FUN OF MY CAR!
I was so pizzed, after I told my mommy, I carried my Ruger 5059 around for like a month, just in case someone gave me stink eye!

Put your coat on, leave your 9 at home, and hang around a while.
By the way, if you tell Z you’re packing a “9”, you’ll move right to the top of the camping list.

Yeah, the 1911's step-brother, the Hi-Power rocks (Except for that mag disconnect). d'oh!

I am at my heart a 1911 guy though. I've carried one in a lot of places, always had faith in it, never had one let me down. (That, and I can't resist a shot at all the gangsta's and their 9's with the sights on the side of the slide.)

In the interests of full disclosure, I did get my grandson a 9mm for his birthday.

But in his defense, he's only turning one next week. Think

Wow, I am guessing someone also wants to pick his/her/it's pronouns....

and FTR, I conceal carry a 1911 (commander) often and have another full size one in the nightstand that went with me to "work" everyday for a very long time.

I moved on from that decades ago and to say again, I have no time for it. Also no desire.

You boys will grow up one day. You might even possibly move out of your mom's basement.

FYI, inside the gun industry it's common knowledge men with small dicks that can't please their wives....or homosexual partners in this case, compensate by purchasing larger calibers for no other reason than small ****** syndrome.

Again, you'll grow up one day guys. It's called adulthood. It will come. Be patient.

In the meantime I've found a much more mature forum to post in.

Also, I didn't say anything about conceal carrying or a permit.

Reading comprehension.....it too will come with maturity.

It's OK, it happened to all of us.

like you, we started off shocked, shocked at the level of immaturity. And also like you, we kept peeking to see if our admonishments had an affect...

next thing we knew, we realized that there is a place for humor, and sometimes it's at our expense.
