I haven't even filed yet, Howard, so I'll get in on the NEXT split.

afterall this is the man that got me a box of Padilla Signature 1932's.....will never forget it.....how special
Like I told you before, Howard . . . Every once in a while, an opportunity presents itself that CANNOT be ignored.
There was NO WAY I was gonna let those 32's NOT wind up in your humidor, my friend.
And speaking of special . . . The look on your face when you opened the box and saw those 32's . . . Now THAT was special.

...yes Jamie....Pepin Rolled lol

I’ve done splits on 3 out of the four with Howard and while mine are still gently sleeping, I’ll bet that Howard has smoked all of his. All gone up in smoke. 💨

don't know if you know this or not, but Ravi will email you a box code list (includes month and year) upon request and you can select the box you want...

though the last time I did that he didn't have inventory older than 1 or 2 years for what I wanted.

Nice. And I concur, it is, for the most part.

I'm cool with that as well, unless it just gets to be obnoxious vitriolic hyperbole. Shame on you

I've no time nor tolerance for that. Life's too short.

Last night’s sucked...

brought home some stuff from a great vegetarian restaurant tonight.
they have figured out how to bring some fantastic flavors and heat.

got some of their wonderful lentil soup.
a (very large) app of gobi manchurian (kinda like buffalo cauliflower)...addictive.
a golden beet and goat cheese salad.
and Thai red curry with veggies and tofu.

laugh all ya want, but this dinner had more layers of flavor built in than 98.2% of what America ate tonight.

We have a Thai restaurant like that. I have to invoke "I've been to Thailand" for them to make it full strength. Half the time they still watch me when I eat to see if I tolerate it. LOL.

I am a big time bbq guy, and ( for 9 more days) part of the world champion bbq cook off team, I have cooked and served over 40K pork butts, 35K briskets, 50k racks of ribs, and countless lbs of chicken. I hate eating bbq, so I pair well with my soon to be wife. She is Indian and cooks homemade daily all meals. I find myself eating vegitarian 4 days a week. It isn't too bad.

Thats the one. I've been with them and a found member since Joplin where it all started back in 2011. Been all over serving the one meal that matters millions of times. You heard of us? or are you into BBQ? Going to HLSR cook off? If so lmk and I will give you my tent number to swing by. Will be plenty of cigars and drinks to be had.

Yes, I've had some friends were volunteering to help out at a couple of their functions. Danged good cause, much respect.

The HLSR in Houston? Lol. No.

I love to BBQ, don't do comps though. I just switched from my SNPP I've been using with lump and wood for 30 years now to a Rec-tec. Figured I'm entitled. LOL

Nothing wrong with Rec-tek. And yes it’s a great group. I’m part of the core team and leadership team with them. Shared cigars, drinks, laughs and tears with many of them over the years. Proud to call many of them family.

I did my cousin's tent at the stock show in Houston a few years ago. I dunno how you guys can do it. That show is friggen Hell. All the walking around aimlessly; yeah it's organized and all but the tent area is MASSIVE. You a Houston local? Would love to have a drink or two outside of the show.

I am a hired cook team. We cater ~10K people Thursday-Sat night for the Rams Club, which is the Lamb and Goat Auction Committee. I am there for the week, I head out of DFW with my trailer Monday at 5:00am and roll in around 11am so I can miss most of the traffic with that 28' 14,000# trailer. This is my 9th trip in 10 years. We have one of the biggest tents out there, 40'X180' and they pack that place out. I am stuck to the grounds for the most part, but if you make it out LMK and I will buy a beer and share a stogie.
