Don't recall seeing posters of any sort yet....especially nothing for Yang. I do like listening to him speak. It's a shame that of all the good things he has to say, the only thing anyone is going to remember about him in six months is "free money!"

This was a long runner on vinyl...had his face and some message that I couldn't read because they had already rolled that part up...it was about 14' long and 4' high.

I saw the show the New York Times ran with all of the candidates and whom they were going to endorse. My wife and I laughed and howled at the screen for most of it. He didn't come across very well in that. Seemed to pander and looked like he was out of his element. The NYT gang liked his "energy". Isn't that code for irritating?

I suppose he's irritating to the 'pundits' because he's another non-politician. He largely avoids abstract visions and say-nothing talking points. He speaks from data and from experience. Just the idea that a techie who wants to figure out how to adequately tax tech is enough to get my interest.

I put up a link so you can read what he had to say to their questioning.

he's got some radical ideas drawn from other social thinkers that are interesting, but never seriously considered...he's the anti-Trump, but with almost no previous profile, he's being dismissed...definitely a threat to the status quo...

Why would you ever want to tax tech? You shouldn't tax business anyway.

Because businesses will just pass on the cost to the consumer thereby inflating prices.

then how do we pay for the infrastructure that creates the environment for and benefits businesses more than individuals? Civil court system: patent, copyright, corporate law that are geared to protect American business...

you still ever get together with Robert since Tom moved?
Could end up near Robert if I get to take the granddaughter to Orlando to see Minnie Mouse.

would probably be a pretty energetic and funny evening.
You just seem so much crazier than me...HA!

Why yes.

I think the first time we met with Mr and Mrs Hay, USAHOG...and the rest...he didnt know what to make of me. Since then we've met up several times. He even got to meet the kids at my old house for a herf and brew with Gringocolo, HockeyDad and friends. Brewed beer ,smoked cigars and had some decent chow.

The ever encouragable Mr. RFENST and I met up with Anthony. We push political talk to the side and have a great time, at least I would say I do. He has provided me with ample counsel when asked and well, I'd say that me being me provide nothing useful. Love the man and look forward till the next time. Say the word and I'll be there.

Seriously.
