My sense of the times though tell me Brennan, clapper, Comey and the rest of the deep state mob are the real criminals that need to be locked up. Did they really need frogmen with AKs at his back door with a CNN crew at dawn? That in itself speaks volumes

while you may not know enough, you have some of the deepest feelings here!

Makes me curious...

Deep State is not a term used by casual followers of politics...it belongs to right wing conspiracy promulgators. You are not being honest with us.

You guys may be watching too much fake news. Can we all at least admit Trump's policy's have greatly improved life for American's? especially the minority's and the bottom wage earners while at the same time crippling our nation's top enemies? I mean come on even Rachel maddow knows that.
Full disclosure: I was a Carson supporter in the previous primary. I have plenty of liberal views but I try to fear God so There's that... another one you should openly admit - The Dems have no one that can challenge Trump. Marxism may be coming to America but we have a speed bump with Trump so I'll take it.

We are plunging into debt with corporate tax breaks - so the money flows. For now.
As the debt grows, they will cut Social Security, Medicare, and the “entitlements” I spent my life paying for.

And it may not bother you that Trump and Co. are organized crime. That is your privilege.

And yes - the Dems have no clue, candidate or plan. Almost like there is no money in it. So they hope Bernie can reshape the world. God help us.

Really, God help us all.

cons will conveniently forget who created Trump's multi-trillion dollar debt mess in a few years and the country will have to elect another dem to fix the deficit, sign a bill extending the tax cuts for the average joe that Trump set to expire in 2026, all while the cons heap scorn and obstruct her...this has been the cycle for a few decades now...

Only if you assume guilt for McCabe and assume he’s a dem (his wife is which is an odd thing for us to know). It’s strange how many years the DOJ looked for something to charge him with. Very odd. Almost as if influenced by something abnormal like an enemies list. The republican appointed judge even used the words banana republic because there was simply no case.

Apparently MCCabe didn’t do anything illegal and the investigation took years instead of weeks. Stone was convicted and they are bending over backwards to lighten things to the point career prosecutors are resigning. Almost as if things are influenced by a friends list.

And that is ok with you? If Obama’s admin did anything one tenth as bad we’d be screaming. We should be now.

Convicted republicans are persecuted and perceived dems (McCabe isn’t necessarily a dem but he crossed trump so same thing) that are not even arrested are presumed guilty.

It’s just getting weird what breaks in logic some are starting to believe. It’s as if some sort of propaganda is starting to take hold. We used to laugh at the likes of Tass and Baghdad bob. Now folks are buying in to such things.

Falsely accuse someone of a crime you never specifically define. Declare them guilty up front. Conduct a endless investigation looking for a crime. End investigation only when a FOIA request is going to be released of a Judge appointed from your party chastising the endless investigation and lack of a case as a banana republic. Claim it’s unfair that guilty enemies walk and illustrates how right you are.

Classic.

We need to wake up soon. This is a pattern not something new.

I have to admit that the “look over there”/“what about..” responses have gone to the next level.
Not just a knee jerk anymore it makes me wonder if some even have control over it.

I can just see the Cons watching Live PD and every time a drunk gets a DWI, they start yelling “What about HILLARY!!!” At the screen.

Of course maybe it is just me.
Can someone in the Trump circle of power even commit a crime?

I mean so what if Stone lied under oath, witness tampered, committed treason - he is one of the da boys...

And we all know the Pres is above the law.

far, far above the law...

and they like a POTUS who plays a lot of golf...

they are under the wizard's spell...

he's delivered much of what they want: tax breaks for the wealthy and for big business, pro business anti-environment de-regulation, conservative and young federal judges, two Supreme Court justices, friendly environment for tossing aside civility/"political correctness", white pride/nationalism, anti-immigrant/minorities policies, anti-academia/science, lying is acceptable, no truth or facts unless the wizard says so...

I typed a response but since it won’t truly be read deleted it. If you believe the situations are exactly alike it’s not worth discussing. I laid out all the differences before realizing the truth isn’t the desired outcome here.

Stone lied to congress. McCabe lied to the FBI...

I'm okay with McCabe not getting prosecuted if that's the way they want to roll with it. I'm also okay with Stone getting a lenient sentence if that's the way they want to roll with it.

The outrage at one and the dead silence on the other is more telling, IMO.

They tried like hell to build a case against McCabe and would have crucified him if they could.

Stone was convicted.

And you see them as equal. In one case the guy is innocent (not proven guilty). In the other he was proven guilty.

Come on man take off your blinders.

That’s what bothers me most. Proclaiming someone guilty without due process and anything other than guilty is wrong. There was no case but you act like it was a slam dunk and the fix was in.

and it wasn't just lying that Stone was accused of, charged with, and found guilty of...

Stone's convictions: five counts of lying to Congress, one count of witness tampering and one count of obstructing a legal proceeding...

to say his behavior is equivalent to McCabe's is willful Trumpian...

Were you protesting this loudly when Trump was enduring the Russia hoax? The Mueller investigation? The impeachment?

The media and the dems swore he was guilty...

Rhetorical question.

I never proclaimed Trump guilty and then continued to after he was cleared. So I guess I’d say yes. I did and do support the investigation.

That was an investigation, is over, left it to congress to decide on obstruction and pretty much cleared him on conspiracy (Collusion was not a part of it). The investigation itself did lead to some convictions. And the whole time the trump team screamed, denigrated everyone conducting the investigation and stonewalled.

While the McCabe investigation was very different in many ways, it showed there was no case against him. Yet you still compare him to a convicted felon. He isn’t.

Meh. The facts aren’t important anyway. It’s the narrative. I doubt you are really interested in the facts. McCabe was just as guilty as stone but there is a double standard. *rolling eyes*

I work with folks at a similar level as McCabe. Would hate to see the president target them with some sort of vendetta and use all the resources of the US to do so. You are proving that even not doing anything illegal is irrelevant. They will always be guilty.

despite the little known fact that Brother Raymond has not only sent me several custom fishnherf t-shirts and an open invite, I just can't seem to make it happen. Off camera, Ray and I have a torrid love affair going on...based on unquestioned support as needed.
