That's two opportunities for sex before you even bake it.

Appointment at the eye doc today. Time for new glasses.

Just went through the same thing. My doc came up with a great solution. Glass for driving, contacts for everyday walking around and cheap $6 drugstore reading glasses paired with the contacts for reading. Works amazingly well. These are new super soft contacts you can sleep in! Headaches from all the reading I do have disappeared!

Haven’t taken any time off since December. Thinking about taking a half day off in March to watch some basketball.

Gotta go get the car service and buy a new microwave to replace the one that crapped out yesterday. I'll have to pick up some groceries and stuff.

This. I have glasses, mostly just cheap readers work great, everywhere. My prescription works for walking around but the readers guild the lily for reading. I buy the multi-packs at Sam's/Costco and squirrel them in each car, my reloading bench, my mill area, the desk, everywhere. I've always got "a pair" handy. ThumpUp

Morning. Friend dropped by to talk shooting, life and have some coffee. Not a bad start to the day. Just finished some cornbread and a bowl of red beans and rice we made for dinner Sunday, I like it better warmed up I think.

Hope you guys are all doing well.

Getting ready to drive to West Virginia to attend a memorial ceremony for my MIL, she passed a few days ago. Rainy and cloudy weather, perfectly appropriate for this trip. I've been dreading her passing for a couple of years as her health deteriorated. I Loved my MIL but she and my wife were super close and always laughing when they called each other.

Soups and stews are all better the second time around. Chili, gumbo, red beans, etc. We cook them a day or two before we plan to eat it. YMMV

Sorry to hear about your MIL Gene.

Just finished my taxes. Gave the feds too much free interest this year and the state not enough but netted a small refund. Doesn't pay to itemize any longer as we can't beat the $27K standard deduction.

Danm, problem is you've been off work too long. Your system doesn't know how to handle downtime anymore

Thursday Morning Jokes

The other day I was having sex with this married woman when her husband came home early.
She told me I’d have to use the back door and said I’d have to be quick.
I probably should have just left, but it’s not every day you get an offer like that.

My wife. phoned me from work earlier.
She said three of her colleagues had received bouquets of flowers.
She said they were all gorgeous.
"Well then," I said, “that's probably why they got flowers.”

A man is sitting in a bar looking sad....
The bartender asks, “Why are you so down?”
Man replies, “Well, no girls will talk to me because I have this wooden eye and it freaks them out.”
Bartender thinks for a moment, “See that cute girl sitting at the end of the bar? She used to be a professional dancer until a car accident took part of her leg and has a prosthetic. She still loves to dance but no one ever asks. Send her a drink.“
The man agrees and sends her a drink.
She smiles at him and waves him over.
The man nervously approaches her and says, “I hear you like to dance?”
She excitedly responds, “Would I!? Would I?!”
The man yells back “PEG LEG! PEG LEG!” and storms out of the bar.

A snail was standing at the corner waiting to cross the street. He heard two turtles coming down the street from the opposite direction. They both ran their stop sign and crashed at the intersection. The police responded and when the officer arrived he saw all the turtle parts strewn about the road. Looking around he saw the little snail standing at the corner. He walked over and looking down he asked the snail if he saw the accident happen. The little snail looked up at the officer and said, ”No officer, it happened so fast!”

Have a good one. fog
