Just to be clear, that's 10 fivers for every game won? And real premiums? Not sketchy Texas premiums? Asking for a friend. BigGrin

Put me in coach....enjoyed this last year
I really don't have a preference on the payout, whatever the majority decides....
When do we pick our teams? After the player grid is filled?

So far, everyone says to go with the 1st scenario.
When do we pick our teams? After the player grid is filled?
Here's how it works, Rick . . . (Just in case you are not yankin' my chains.)
When the slots are filled, I will put everyone's name in a hat. (Yes . . . It's a STETSON !)
I will pick names, one by one, and enter them, (in the order picked), into the pool grid on the pool website.
When I enter a name, the site randomly assigns a team to that name.
I will do this TWO separate times. That way if your 2nd team is in the same league as your 1st team,
(National or American), I will assign that team to the next person down the grid who needs a team from that League. This way, everyone gets a team from both Leagues. Kabeesh ?

I'm in again this year-after trading for my Padres one year and getting the KC Royals another, sooner or later I'll get a team that scores runs.

And if it's limited in participants and we get two teams, might as well go with scenario one.

Skip:
Don't take this the wrong way Millie, but if I catch you in here again I'll ban you from the ballpark.

Millie:
You can't ban me from the ballpark because my daddy donated the scoreboard.

Skip:
What do we need a scoreboard for? We haven't scored any runs all season.

To save time and energy, John, I am not even gonna TRY to get 30 single players this year.
15 players, two teams each, (1 National - 1 American), and 6 payoffs. (scenario #1)

As you know, trades are welcome, and it doesn't have to be National for National or American for American.
If you want to trade a National for an American, or vice versa, whereas both players end up with two teams in the same league, that is fine, as long as it is agreeable to both parties.
So, welcome back, and good luck with your teams.

PS
Still lovin' my Gurkha mug. Use it EVERY morning ! ThumpUp

Yeppers, drunk underbidding thinking there had to be more love for Gurkha coffee mugs at least if not their ceegars.

Don't know if I even have one still-lots of military mugs and only use a few favorites.

Lots of chatter about the over/under on how many Astros get "plunked" this year-that might be a good side bet with a LOOONNG payoff wait.

think the commissioner will step in to protect the Astros players if anything looks suspicious at the start of the season...after 4-5 players hit during first week or two...he'll impose fines and suspensions

premiums, better than everyday yard gars, no bundles or cheap cigars, maybe $6.50-$10 per cigar...these aren't the super premium top of the lines of any marques, so don't expect Opus X, Don Carlos, Padron Family Reserve or any HTF limited editions Tats or Viajes, Liga Privadas

Oliva G, O V, Melanio, Cain, Padron x000, Fuente Hemingway, Rosado SunGrown, Flor Fina, Casa Cuba, Illusione, Espinosa, Crowned Heads, La Gloria Cubana, La Flor Dominicana, My Father, Tat Red and Brown labels, Riqueza, Cabaiguan, El Triunfador, Perdomo, Drew Estate, AJ Fernandez, Aging Room, Kristoff,

Slots are all filled.

I will post the link to the pool grid website with the assigned teams as soon as I get it completed.
As previously stated, trades are permitted, and it doesn't have to be an NL team for an NL team, or an AL team for an AL team. Whatever you guys can work out is fine, as long as it is agreeable to both players.
Good luck to all, and thanks for participating !

jes

Team Grid is complete.
Link is posted in Post #1.
And don't bitch to me if you got schitty teams. Shame on you
I used a "random generator" to assign them.

Well at least Houston will have lots of free baserunners!

What's the latest over/under on how many get plunked in retaliation? Early line was about 1 every other game....
