This is Streetrod's cousin, Lt. Colonel Carmen Annillo Jr. ( USAF Retired ) who passed away last year at the age of 89.
Here is what Frank, (Streetrod), had to say about him.

"I was honored to attend his service at Arlington National Cemetery. In Vietnam Nam he logged 650 combat hours as the Operations Officer & then went on to coach the soccer team at the USAF Academy. During his service he was awarded a Silver Star, Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Cross, & Air Medals amongst other awards while serving his country."

Jespear, thanks for posting this picture. I wanted to post it last Veterans Day to honor him but could not figure out how to.

Yes! He was a real bad ass, but everyone wanted to fly with him as he always protected their azz.
He was also one the the nicest & finest family man I ever knew.
As a side note, he turned down a contract from the NY Yankees to serve his country.

RIP Colonel...

Very cool period photo.

Beer in right hand...
What's in his left hand???

Love the shoulder holstered pistol ( no straight hammer I could see, maybe a round circle hammer? looks like a makarov, definitely non-issued, it isn't a 1911 or High Power) above Colonels left hand , His buddy has on...

And the super dark sunglasses on the "cat" with
the black beret , on left.
