I wonder if there's a coronavirus forum somewhere with a "General Discussion" section featuring an intensive, in-depth discussion of the best discount cigar deals?

Only the cigars are discounted.
Not thoughts. (well, depends on who you ask)

But the relationships are priceless.
And this I say with all sincerity.

I've been wondering if it was the same crap that I got in late October and the King got in December/January. Same symptoms but without a test who will ever know. Maybe this wasn't a Chinese virus, but rather something I got on Cape Cod and was transported to China through the Chinese restaurant I got food at while there.

Add me to that list... Got something nasty before king... So nasty, it altered my life... I started eating breakfast daily for the first time in decades... Seriously, it drastically altered my body...

And - seriously - I have asthma now... Never had it before, got that virus, quit smoking cigars, and now I have to use an inhaler once a day...

Several cases in the last few days with families angry that we didn't test the deceased.

Still, very limited testing being done here.

I think my dad got it in early December and I got it in late December. Of course no way to know, but the symptoms were a match.

You think? LOL.

Dude, they've been lying and hiding this since late last year. They're not going to confess to it now.

Remember when our leader said he didn't want the people from that cruise ship to be brought ashore because it would increase the numbers ? Remember when he said it was a liberal hoax ? Can you trust any government news ?

Yeah......that flu was weird, but I’m 95% sure it wasn’t Covid19. My cough was productive..........albeit only for 4 or 5 days, and then the cough persisted for weeks afterward......and then my airways were sensitive and hyperactive for at least a month after that............almost asthma like.
Never really had a fever, and I didn’t miss any work, just was a little fatigued.
Think I’m gonna start getting flu shots.......

Here’s a pretty good read

Hang in there Dan..........praying for you........thanks for your service.

hahaha...like comparing a pinprick to a beheading...

but there may be some promising news...just saw that the University of Minnesota is running tests on the high blood pressure control med, Losartan/Cozaar. Seems it binds to cell receptors favored by the virus, leaving the virus without a way to affect the body...

I take Losartan...so does that mean I'm free to leave my home and go to the cigar bar?

Just got an offer for Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin
Curious if anyone thinks that such a purchase makes sense?
Same place I got my recreational Viagra years ago previous to realizing I really don't need such stuff except for the occasional rare marathon sessions. But their stuff was good and cheap

Hydroxychloroquine can have side effects (Q-T prolongation, arrhythmias, etc.) Azithromycin can have side effects too. There's a reason these drugs are prescription-only. A qualified doctor needs to decide if they're safe and appropriate for you to use.

Availability to doctors is not currently forseen to be a problem no matter what happens (they're patent-free, easy to make and can be cranked out at massively huge scale easily and very quickly by many different manufacturers if need be), and doctors already have the power to prescribe them to you "off-label" for COVID-19 right this minute, if they deem it necessary and appropriate.

If you get COVID-19, your doctor will take care of it (assuming they're safe for you, in particular, to use).

Even I wouldn't worry about it, and I tend to worry too much in general.

My county (Surry, NC) will be shutting down the interstate exits to all non-residents. They said that there has been a large number of vehicles riding around the county with NY, NJ and Florida plates. Best to keep the Yankee riff raff out. Probably riding around looking to scoop up our beloved roadkill.
