. . . do you want to be president?

And how will he help the country?

Just curious.

Tulsi Gabbard.

She'd help me cut down on the pron.

"Who's been a naughty president? Yeah you've been a naughty president!"

I hope she's "curious" too.

"I don’t even care who wins, just as long as they beat Trump. I’m not even really a Democrat, I just vote, “Not Republican.” Democrats are like condoms to me. I mean, I’ll use them ‘cause it’s safer, I guess. But it doesn’t feel good."

either one will be fine...

it's happening again....it's time again for a Dem to inherit a mess left by a GOP POTUS, and clean it up...

seems like a recurring cycle, but the period of time varies...

Trump can't be faulted for the pandemic, only the response...but other stuff was broken before the virus hit...

ironically, the pandemic will force us to work together and may lessen the extent of the partisan divide...

I'll vote for whoever is the nominee. While neither stands out for me, either will improve the country by removing Trump for office. Last election was anyone but Hillary except for her base. This election will be anyone but Trump except for his base. Delta is correct, the Democrats will have to fix the mess again that a Republican administration has made. How many additional Americans will die because they believed Trumps lies about COVID19 and didn't take precautionary measures? That, I hold him responsible for.

spread of the corona virus into a pandemic is not Trump's fault...

decisions, omissions and declarations he made in response to the pandemic that have created problems in the USA are his fault...

1) lack of testing, to determine where the hotspots are, and to isolate infected peeps

2) early statements, including disinformation, contradictions, and falsehoods misled the public into complacency, subverting the process that public health experts were pushing for...

3) did not gear up for mass illnesses, leaving medical care providers at risk of being swamped

4) did not order PPE for medical providers, knocking a large number out of commission without adequate subs

5) didn't mobilize the military's medical units and facilities to prepare for rising numbers of ill peeps...

6) ordered social distancing measures too late

Biden. He is the most moderate.

It's along shot but maybe he can repeal the huge corporate tax breaks.
And stop the Right from Killing Social Security.

here is the whole story...

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/mar/04/facebook-posts/president-obama-declared-h1n1-public-health-emerge/

the Obama administration declared H1N1 a national health emergency only two weeks after it was discovered in the USA, and weeks before WHO declared it a pandemic...

6 months later, when vaccination programs got off to a sluggish start, Obama declared a national emergency to release federal funds to relieve the back-up so peeps could get vaccinated quicker...

easy to spot the Trump believers...they keep repeating his BS and distorted views of history, without fact checking.... even tho they are aware of his long list of lies and disinformation...

You are confusing facts with The Story.

Trump isn’t just good, he’s the best. Best of the best of the best. Forever and always. And that gives him many enemies. MANY! They are all against him, telling lies!

Obama was BAD, Terrible. It’s a wonder the the US survived at all. SAD, VERY SAD!
Only Trump can fix the damage! And has been doing it! Better than anyone. Way better!

Have fun defending this assclown...

https://youtu.be/vc-8bXKR79w

The thing...you know...the thing he wants to put his hand on a Holy Bible and swear an oath to defend and protect...the thing.

Talk about not ready for primetime...even his BFF won't endorse him...yet. the average voter should take that as a warning.

OR this...

"Sen. Bernie Sanders grew angry when asked about his campaign plans. During a gaggle with reporters in the Capitol, I asked Sanders about his timeframe for making a decision, and he lashed out: “I’m dealing with a f***ing global crisis. You know, we’re dealing with.” I noted he’s running for president, and he said: “Well right now, right now I’m trying to do my best to make sure that we don’t have an economic meltdown and that people don’t die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?”

The blowup occurred about half way through a five-minute gaggle where Sanders talked about the “unprecedented crisis of our lifetime,” calling for a range of measures that the U.S. government should take in the midst of the economic crisis. Then @LisaMascaro asked what he’s saying to his supporters, and he sidestepped the question, noting he’s sent out a statement.

Then, I asked about his timeframe – and he was furious. Afterwards, he mellowed out and answered questions about the crisis for about two more minutes."

Either way...the current guy looks a LOT better. Seeing as how he propelled the economy to soaring highs...neither Pedo Joe or Muppet Statler could muster Wall Street to do a damned thing.

good thing Trump is not prone to angry childish outbursts like Bernie...

inheriting an eight year run of an economic recovery that had tanked under Bush is not quite the same as saving it.

The Obama stagnation of low GDP, job losses and people on welfare isn't really anything to brag about. The guy was THE worst President during my life thus far. Obama talked a great game and that was it...well that and gave islamofascist religious zealots over a billion cash...sure break out the pom-poms and lead the cheer.

Still looks like nobody is saying they are rooting for a particular Democrat candidate.

Just following the main stream media mass hysteria about hating Trump.

Or so it seems...

You know I've got my foil hat on and Joe is just the front for the real candidate. Not sure who that is though. Michelle is the person I fear the most as far as bringing some excitement to the ticket. If it's Hillary you can bet if elected Joe bows out after the election. Health problems.

OK, yeah.

Trump inherited 8 years of what had been an 11 year run until this month.

what was left behind for the previous administration to inherit? any chance you have any handy links showing that President Cheney left a thriving economy back then?

C'mon, man. Partisan with blinders on holds us back. It's more party over country.

and trump insists on releasing raw numbers almost immediately if they make him look heroic without waiting for the rest of the factors and adjustments...I'll poke around cuz I know I've been seeing them for a while.

there were other links but many were co-opted, can't recall what I read in the past so picked Forbes figuring it wasn't considered even close to the OANN of the left...

and it's not like those who don't buy into Trump's crap about revving up a down economy claim insane dominance by Obama. Trump's 3 years are very similar to Obama's on the way out, not bad at all, which just shows he isn't a savior, he just didn't screw up an 8 year recovery trajectory from the dark days of President Cheney.

And no POTUS is the be all end all of an up or down economy, he just used his self serving marketing skills to take full credit...in that light, should he take full blame now?

Equally ridiculous.

I'm no fan of Trump by a long shot, my fiance fights with me constantly because she bows at his feet. However, I do believe Trump saw the weakness in our economy and was trying to prevent this exact scenario from happening. He realized we were too dependent on other countries and wanted to raise tariffs. Bringing industry back to the US. He got no help from congress and quite honestly the majority of the population didnt understand why they shouldn't have to pay more for Apple making their iPhone in China.

I just did 5 years in a pretty well respected business school and all they did was push globalization and cheaper labor down my throat the entire time. I never agreed with that practice because of the long term effects and we are seeing that now. If we were the industrial country we once were the market does not tank like this. If we weren't the greedy make money off the sweat of workers in communist countries we don't have an economical crisis like this right now.

To blame one man on the rise or fall of this economy is silly imo, and to blindly believe media agendas feels like the norm anymore. However, we can use common sense, and we can see that even though Trump is morally a pos that he did have one perspective that could have made a difference in some way here. We'll survive this pandemic, and the economy will bounce back but we will surely make the same mistakes if we only lay blame because it is the popular thing to do. We are more to blame for allowing this country to become greedy than any politician that could ever be in office.
