So the FIL took a spill Fri night. Turns out he broke his hip in the process. Surgery got bumped up to today and I'm volunteered as support due to Mrs. Beach having an autoimmune dealy. Not how I was planning to spend my Sun.

huh.....so, if I'm understanding this correctly, we should keep our distance from naked guys who are farting......farts spread the virus into the air...

I knew this would be the place for tips on surviving the corona virus pandemic...

hope SOB's FIL has a full and speedy recovery and that SOB gets some stress relief time outs...

It's official. Starting tomorrow all Pa. residence are ordered to stay at home. You are only allowed to leave for life sustaining activities. State and local police have been ordered to enforce the lock down. They are deadly serious. The mayor gave a press conference saying to many people were not taking this crisis serious enough. The playgrounds were packed with kids playing basketball etc. Police have been super busy breaking up large social gatherings, BBQ's, and parties at all the parks. The state's leading medical expert said the reported cases in Pa. were rising exponentially every two days.

I think I'm all set. Cigar stash. Check! Lager, Bourbon and Irish Cream stash. Check! Sour patch strips and gummy worm edibles. Check! TP stash. Check! All I really need now is some Dorito's and a ten pack of soft taco's from Taco Bell. Maybe treat myself to a Steak Chalupa!

Hey John! Wanna come over and drool in front of the T.V. for about 8 hours? We just gotta stay six feet apart and I have to some how manage to ignore the machismo that pours off you! Think BigGrin

Iffin’ I had the space (...and more importantly...) the money 💰 for an OG muscle car, it would be a ‘69 Chevy Z/28.

Split window?

Never really been a fan of the corvette. Not to say I don't appreciate them, just never wanted one.

What I'd ideally want to do is take a modern GT500 or Roush Stg 3 or similarly overpowered Mustang, rip the body off it and stick a '69 fastback body on it. Classic styling. Modern power and handling. That's the out of my price range dream

I was 10 at the time and didn't give a crap about cars...then I saw a red and white one and popped a boner...

sure, there have been some flops in the line over the years, but I fell in love with that specific car and started looking for other cars that excited me...like the 64 Mustang GT fastback and GTO, 68 Camaro Z28, 70 Hemi Road Runner

to be honest, my dream car was a 70 Lamborghini Miura...but won't ever be able to afford one

Having driven a few of those older cars, I prefer the power and handling of the newer ones... so my bucket list of cars has changed.

Nice! Isn't it considered veal if you cannibalize anyone under the age of 8?

(as an aside I refuse to eat veal. Calves play like puppies and what they do to those poor buggers locking them down so they can't move etc.... I don'y mind animals being killed for food but I don't need them tortured first.)

Edit: The '63 Stingray convertible. Not the split window.

Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell just announced a “Stay At Home/Work At Home order for all non-essential workers effective tomorrow at 4:30 pm.

Other islands not affected by this but may impose a similar order.

evening my quarantine brothers...

we are doing our best to make meals from as scratch as possible...

made bread dough and used half for little flatbread pizzas... topped two with shredded chicken mixed with bbq sauce and one with shredded chicken mixed with ranch sauce... topped both with cheddar cheese...

flattened the other half of the dough and fried it, then covered it in blackberry jam and powdered sugar...

fat and full...
