Burr pulls up to 1.7 MM out of the stock market sometime in Jan.... in Feb is still pushing the party line that the economy is doing great and is unstoppable.
Kelly Loeffler dumped like 10MM of stock and bought a little of a teleworking company. Of course immediately after the Jan meeting on the COVID-19. In Feb she was still making statements like: "Democrats have dangerously and intentionally misled the American people on #Coronavirus readiness,"

Feinstein's husband dumped about 5-6MM of a single stock in Jan/Feb. It was a biotech stock, so I'm not sure it's directly associated with any coronavirus news.

Inhofe sold about 400k end of Jan, but it doesn't appear he was at the meeting.

It looks like Burr and Loeffler really dumped stocks immediately after that meeting on the 24th... additionally they kept pushing the public information suggesting the markets were going to be fine.l Something they clearly didn't believe.

Doubt it. They can claim they based it on public info and there is no way to tell. Nothing will come of this although it stinks.

Burr is already saying he based it on CNBC LMAO...... he couldn't say fox because they were still denying it and their followers believing it.

I mean.... I'm not particularly upset at them pulling out. The economy being a little hot right now has been something I worried about for a while. I wasn't smart enough to pull out in time (I mean, I was smarter than you idiots with children... badum-bum) but I don't fault someone for being nervous end of Jan. Their willingness to keep pushing everyone else bad information, when they themselves clearly didn't trust it, is what I find scummy.

Yes, it does stink, and it will be looked into.

wonder if we'll ever know what the Trump family did with their equities...

or if Kudlow followed his own advice and went on a shopping spree, as he was telling JohnQ to do in the middle of the crash

Feinstein (husband) shorted it at $24 something and it went up to $27.....

Oops.

Doesn’t look like she knowingly and directly did anything (provable). She does have a blind trust to hide behind and most of her dirty work has always been done by her husband anyways.

The three R’s now one of them is on pretty solid ground the other two look pretty filthy.

I don't care if it's a D or an R next to their names... if Martha Stewart went to prison for it, why shouldn't they?

They come out of a meeting on the virus and dump stocks just before the market tanks? No bueno. And then the GA broad and her hubby actually bought stock in a teleconference company before the order to telecommute came down.

Looks pretty fn dirty to me.

Exactly. Ever wonder how so many congressmen have managed to become multimillionaires while in office on that salary. There was a book written about that but can't remember the title.

Full disclosure: I dumped a load of mutual funds for safety myself but it was after the first week of the downer. I blame MSNBC.

Like I said... I'm not too upset if anyone dumped in end of Jan. A smart person could see some sort of trouble brewing (I wasn't smart enough, but 20/20 etc)... But the ones that kept trying to convince everyone else things were fine while they were pulling out? Yeah... Probably should be in Federal F-me in the Ass Prison

yeah, it's appropriate to look into the ethics, but a lot of people did or could have done the same based on public info...

two things holding me from being totally meh about it. He did pump positive info out into that pool the public uses and he had another incident maybe a decade ago...I don't know the details.

I hope this won't be a red/blue issue cuz it's really a character/morality issue...but I know it will dissolve into partisanship.
