Trump is going so far this time as to insist BIG BIZ does not use massive bailout (or whatever the name is this go round) funds to buy back shares and increase wealth...again!
He even said something much like this "hey, I'm a Republican, but even I can see..."

I swear his lips were moving but I heard Warren's voice.

perhaps one day we'll realize that strict adherence to one and only one political belief system is to ignore the benefits to us all of allowing a blend.
You know, pragmatism over party can kill ya...

One size does not fit all.

I do not support handing out money we don't have to people that don't need it.

Those on welfare are already being helped. No money for you.
Big business... no money for you.

A small percentage of people need help and we're trying to give away money we don't have to everyone.

Just... no.

Interesting thing Gene. Maybe some good will come out of this If WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE remember of the people, by the people, and for the people, and start acting like THE PEOPLE again.

I agree with Macs for the most part other than the small number of people part. The service and travel industry workers itself is huge. They can’t go long without coin and have no real options to fend for themselves. Yikes.

TW, I heard the food service industry accounts for 10% of the jobs in the country.

Agree, for the most part, with MACS.

I'm afraid Congress will act in haste. Then we can repent at our leisure.

Dems are actually holding the bill up for “environmental concessions”

I do not support any bailout.

I just read on Yahoo News that the House Dems are pushing a Bill to forgive up to $30k of student debt due to Covid19. The comments where 95% against.
