...could be fatal.

So sorry for the AZ couple who took chloroquine, thinking it would protect them against COVID-19.

But hey, everyone back to work after Easter!

Oh that part is true. The az folks were dumb asses.

Calling to fill the churches at Easter is irresponsible though. Just as dumb as ingesting fish cleaner or turning to Laura Ingram for news.

Jamie's right. The Dr's prescription should have been more explicit. Maybe it’s his handwriting that’s the issue.

I don’t hate the baby Jesus. It’s the liberal adult Jesus I take issue with. You know the one saying Howard is thy name.

*sigh*

They didn't take medical advice from him. He didn't offer any. He did say a combo of the anti-malarial and azithromycin worked in France, which was reported by the French.

What they did was take a chemical meant for fish. But if it makes you feel better to blame their stupidity on Trump...

When asked what she'd like the American public to learn from her experience, the woman told NBC News, "Be careful and call your doctor."

The blame game is as stupid as the old people with no brains.

Agreed on both accounts but trump does misstate things in a spin that benefits him and idiots do believe him.

So perhaps the President should refrain from suggesting possible unproven treatments.

Agreed again.

Trump's tweet (it's not like this sh#t isn't saved):

"HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE & AZITHROMYCIN, taken together, have a real chance to be one of the biggest game changers in the history of medicine. The FDA has moved mountains - Thank You! Hopefully they will BOTH (H works better with A, International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents).........be put in use IMMEDIATELY. PEOPLE ARE DYING, MOVE FAST, and GOD BLESS EVERYONE!"

Did he tell them to take it? no. did he essentially sell it as a miracle cure (I think he's actually referred to them as a miracle) ? yeah. To think no one's going to try to take it after that is sticking your head in the sand.

And while they took a fish treatment, it was the chloroquine they took, not some random chemical. This stuff is available, same stuff prescribed for parasites to people.

Twitler additionally retweeted this tweet:
"Our experience suggests that hydroxychloroquine should be a first-line treatment for Covid-19. We can use it to save lives and prevent others from becoming infected, write
@DrJeffColyer and Daniel Hinthorn"

Yeah... no one's going to try it after these endorsements.

this is no time to have to parse the meaning of words from the POTUS or to have to debate the nuances.
It's called leadership, it needs to be clearly and concisely stated, and his lack of it when tested is not the same as being blamed for a virus by his "haters". Such a waste of time to argue/defend "haters" in every important debate..

His reelection campaign needs to move aside and let the people who were in place before he got there run the show.
I could respect anyone saying "this is not my long suit, but we have people who specialize in this or that..."

He is in waaay over his head and filing for bankruptcy is no longer a trump card up his sleeve to escape disaster.

claiming he's getting blamed is avoiding points of contention.
It's like the stupid avoidance of analysis tactic by accusing complaints as TDS symptoms.

I got scorched for calling out Trump for purposely riling up some elements of his base to deflect criticism of his response to the pandemic by publicly and repeatedly emphasizing that it was the Chinese Virus...I said he was putting innocent people at risk...I was called a race baiter....

a few days later, without mentioning or admitting his mistake, Trump stopped calling the virus the Chinese virus and said we need to protect our Asian Americans....he musta been informed of the anti-Chinese and anti-Asian sentiments that mushroomed on social media and the hate crimes directed at Asian Americans...he said in response to a reporters question about his early remark about protecting Asians:

"Yeah, because it seems that there could be a little bit of nasty language toward the Asian Americans in our country and I don’t like that at all. These are incredible people. They love our country and I’m not going to let it happen. I just wanted to make that point....

"People are blaming China. And they are making statements to great American citizens that happened to be of Asian heritage and I’m not going to let that happen. Please."

Blaming this on President Trump is kind of moronic don't ya think.

If some people are stupid enough to not know the difference in chloroquine used in malaria treatment and chloroquine used in a **** ing fish tank.......Well Darwin would be correct

Al Covid-19 is still a Chinese virus........and the Chinese are an ethnicity not a race,Asians would be a race.So calling this a Chinese virus, since it did originate in China,is technically correct. If it had originated in Ireland I would not have a problem with it being labelled an Irish virus......it is what it is

Agreed. Stupid is as stupid does. I don't give a $hit who says what...all I know is that if I chug some fish tank cleaner thinking it will do anything other than hurt me, I get what I get.

This is the problem with America... We are constantly slowing down for morons...

We do it in schools... My son finishes his day of school work in 30 minutes now that he's at home and allowed to work at a pace that isn't designed for the dumbest among us...

My sister lives in Washington just 5 miles from that infamous nursing home... They're liberal, as is their school system...

Week one of the outbreak the school closed for the year and announced they were sending laptops to every student...

Week two of the outbreak the school sent an announcement stating that perhaps not all children would have the same access to the internet, so laptops were cancelled and - in an effort to put everyone on the same level of opportunity - the school announced they would be providing zero assistance, zero curriculum, and they have now shut off all lines of communication...

I for one say no more slowing down for idiots... Wanna stand in the road? Youll be treated as a speed bump...

Wanna drink fish tank cleaner to protect yourself from a virus because you think the president told you to? Don't call 911, don't take up valuable hospital space, stay at home and die...

Wanna beat up Asian Americans because of a Chinese virus? You're retarded and your death will come as soon as we stop slowing down for you...

I was with you up to here.

Racism is not an inherently self-destructive behavior, as we've seen through american history. Plenty of people have beaten americans of other races and gotten away with it, even thrived, sometimes because of it. Your implication that it's something which is going to ultimately hinder the person who is doing the beating is simply not proven out in history.

In fact, one could argue that a lot of the current upswings in racism is pushback from people upset that their lives were finally starting to see some negative repercussions from their behavior (ie, not hired for a good job because they post racist crap of facebook or something like that) and they refused to accept it.

yes, and we have a moron for POTUS who knows what he's doing, knows he has racists in his base, and purposely incites them...this is manipulation of morons at its most insidious and borders on criminal behavior, like inciting a riot or conspiracy to commit the crime...

after the predictable acts of hatred occurs, he says don't blame me for their stupidity...

Delta, it's words. I will not advocate criminalizing words. Are they bad, of course. But let's not set a standard that undermines freedom of speech. That is a slippery slope. I don't want to lose my ability to call Opel a stoner, or Tail an intellectual idiot.

yes, if I'm using it as is meant by his supporters to describe me. I'm really quoting them almost as a third party, and I don't hate the person in question, though the accusations of mental illness issues if one is not a Trumper are easy...easier than an actual explanation of the behavior being questioned, criticized, mocked, whatever.

It's tiring fending off that charge when really wanting to criticize/discuss his actions.

For example, if one posts:

"Trump jeopardized the health of many Americans by saying the virus was a Dem and media driven hoax"

the common response from Trump supporters seems to be:

"TDS much?" or "oh, sure, just blame him for the virus too. You are blinded by your pathological hatred."

well, maybe longer than that, but the response should or could be a thought out defense of his actions and perhaps teaching the original poster why he might even benefit from Trump's actions in the hoax example.

BUT, somehow I think you may have been being humorous pointing out, yet again, my use of quotation marks when their need is not obvious. If that is the case, disregard the above response...HA!
