Now we're up to 5 employees and 2 inmates positive. Handful of negative tests, as well.

A negative test just means they haven't caught it yet. It's not a permanent state or being....

Good morning folks. Spent yesterday doing volunteer photo point work in the Tonto National Forest. About 2 hours driving, 6 1/2 hours hiking, 18 actual photo points and one stubborn rattler who wouldn't get of the trail we wanted to use. Beautiful 71 degree day out in the Sonoran desert backcountry.

Also trying to help the local small business places as much as possible right now. Bought some veggies from a local farmers market and curb side take out from our favorite Italian place.

Sounds like an awesome day.

Today I’m taking my two dogs for a walk on a trail along the Missouri River valley. River on one side bluffs on the other. It’s part of the Lewis and Clark trail.

Every time I walk it I think of old westerns or Lewis and Clark and can imagine Indians quietly watching them from the bluff.

With my heart I’ll prolly turn back sooner than usual. The usual routine is walk the trail from Beverly to Weston. In Weston there is a whisky snug and brewpub with a dog friendly beer garden. Then walk back stumbling like Frankenstein being dragged by two huskys.

My shadow looks like a trex chasing two wolves.

Brewpub and whisky snug are closed, but since I’m still a little gimpy it will be good to turn back sooner.

Make it a day.

Does corona virus cause rain? I think we are seeing a record number of wet days for the month of March up here...

Funny Opel. I was just going to paste in here what the carrot weather app told me.

You would look so much cooler with an eyepatch. Would you like me to remove one of your eyes?

Wet here as well for the Az desert. But it sure makes for a colorful spring.

Morning all. Just finished my morning run, a little wet out but otherwise very nice. I am starting to miss in person social interaction. Dead eye, I am jealous of the closeness of the desert for you. Walking in a cornfield just isn't the same. Having enough time to slow cook has been nice. Lost a third friend to COVID 19 this morning. He was an ER doctor. I DO have some fun lined up for today! Insulating the garage.

group of eleven, one more than the county restriction on gatherings of 10 or more...living dangerously - but living...been awhile since I had a cigar with my son

figured everybody was healthy since we've been social distancing for more than two weeks

No problem occupying my time - the problem is deciding what to do next. After reading this topic I remembered that I can't find my eye patch. This is an unacceptable thing for a minister of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Gotta go look again.

I have a box of eye pads taken from work.

Had a lot of fun giving away eye pads in ipad boxes and telling them I got it from work but don't have a need for it

Did 3 peleton workouts this am.

The woman is afraid of putting on weight during this quarantine, since she can't hit the gym daily.

I told her it's ok... She didn't need to worry... After the quarantine is lifted I'll probably still be young enough to find a smaller woman to replace her.

Ya know... if we really want this corona virus gone, we should just give it some dirt on the Clintons.

That'll kill it.

Just did a "fast social distancing speedy 2nd birthday party" for my little guy. Did a Facebook live for him to open a present, we sang to him, let him eat cake, read some comments and chatted with some people. Then did a video chat with grandparents and brother/sister in law so they can sing. Then a group of mine and my wife's friends did the same thing. We have a gotten a few videos messaged to us from Aunts and uncles. Sucks we had to cancel his actual party but it's for the best. So this was the next best thing that I came up with and everyone loved it.

Slept my entire day away.

Didn't get up till 11, watched the 3rd LOTR movie with the boy, then fell asleep on the couch till 7.

And I'm feeling pretty much ready for bed now.

Night shift will do that to you. I slept from 6-12 today. I'll be in bed before long and wide the eff awake a few hours later. Night shift plays mind games with my body clock.
