MACS and ZRX came over yesterday for lunch and a cigar or two and some beverages...shoulda known this was gonna get weird, cuz I set off the smoke alarms in the house heating up some crispy wings, just as the boys got here...ventilated the house, opening doors and windows to silence the fire alarms...ate lunch and drank and smoked and shared stories ...my wife Kelly popped out to remind Z it was "laundry" time...he got back and we smoked and drank some more, while having a great conversation...the sun went down...MACS got a call from his wife...MACS left shortly after...

Jamie and I had another beer and some more single malt Scotch... then he said something about demonstrating the Road Trip version of his Oregon Camping Trip...

next thing I know, I woke up at about 0520 hr, upstairs, naked (I usually sleep in the birthday suit, tho) in bed wondering WTH?

Glad you guys were able to get together and have a good time.
Seems like Z had a great time...

It was a triumphant ride gone for sure.

Well the hotel......not “honk”.

My hotel neighbors were nice enough to engage in some mild bondage, loud moaning and whatnot @3 am so just to be nice when I saw her in the elevator I started breathing heavy and said I came at the same time.

Two wins for me.

Long ass day with the sleep deprivation at the city, street and hospital they named after me. Headed back to hump central for another heavy listening session. I think I’ll Facebook live it this time.

From the sound of it, Celtic's face will look like he just finished a fight of his own.

I'll probably be popping in after work tonight around 11:30 ish my time. It's always entertaining being a fly on the wall.

Yeah, me not being sober has not served me well in the past. I didn't get in trouble every time I drank but every time I got in trouble I was drinking. Two common denominators there, one had to be eliminated before it took out the other one.

My connection drops in and out sometimes, and to lags a bit on Zoom. My home office is in the far end of the apt from the modem/router. My apt is in a refurbished old furniture manufacturing building originally built in 1890. Cool place. The apt is about the size of an average 3BR ranch house. Thick red brick outer walls, big old growth wood beams (where exposed) large rooms, 10-12 foot high ceilings, pretty open layout... but the thick walls and steel studs for internal walls kinda get in the way of WiFi signals over distance.

I have a WiFi extender half way between the front and the rear of the apt which helps but my laptop sometimes gets confused and drops the connection from the booster and locks on main router for a bit, then drops that connection and reconnects to the booster.

I should probably go int the laptop settings, force it to ignore the home base router and use the booster as the preferred connection. Look to see if the webcam mic needs some reconfiguring or sumtin... Yeah, I should probably do that...

Look a squirrel!

If you connect the audio through your phone it takes some of the pressure off your computer and helps your audio stay steady even if your pic freezes up...

But it doesn't sound laggy, it just sounds quiet... if that helps diagnose it.

someone kept shooting off fireworks and my female dog kept trying to get out of her pen... so I missed bens ted talk on god and the multiverse... next week maybe...

to chime in on a conversation from last nght, rick and morty is funny but in a childish way... I like it, but it's super popular with junior high schoolers for a reason...

Mike Tyson Mysteries on the other hand has not only Mike Tyson, but also Norm Macdonald... and kids probably don't get 90% of it... yall should give it a watch:
