Well, I'm pretty sure the last one I had would have anyway, darn near took me out!

More seriously, I am taking a "Smoke 'em 'cause I got 'em" approach during this crisis. I have a nice large stockpile of some great cigars including CC's Padrons 1964's and 26's, Cool Arrows, some great Old OR stock and more. Many of them I have been keeping at the bottom of my cache, putting them away for the future, or for some undefined "special occasion."

Well, I have decided the fact that I am healthy, have my income, and plenty of toilet paper is special enough!

Life is short and you never know when its your turn. I don't want be the guy that has a lot of un-smoked gems that I never got a chance to enjoy when my time is up.

I can always buy more later!

Stay Safe & smoke the good stuff!

If you’re smoking Ghurkas, you’re low. Perhaps the virus has already infected your brain, or at least your taste buds.

Giving a sick person a Gurkha would be a good way to test, if they don't realize how bad it is, they got the virus!

Last Gurk I had was about at year ago and it was a mistake. Had come in a sampler pack that was a good deal even WITH the gurky-thing included. Accidentally grabbed it when heading out for a walk and, despite my better judgement, lit it up anyway.

Yuch, so nasty I think it would have killed any germs or viruses in a 6 foot radius.

On the plus side, however, it pretty much unraveled and fell apart right away....

So far this lock-down I have enjoyed

-My last CC Monty #2 (Got very lucky with this batch, no clunkers)
-A number of Party Shorts
-Hoya Epicures, mmmmm good
-Cool Arrows
-Padron 1926's

Did have to do a pick-up of good bourbon and irish though to go with these. Fortunately we have a drive-up liqueur store that is open and well-stocked!

If you smoke a Ghurka and like it, you are a witch. If you smoke it and can't taste it, you are going to die of the Corona. If you smoke one and it tastes like crap, you will be quarantined just in case.

Smoked a Gurk today, burned evenly, no explosions and tasted horrible from start to finish. I guess I don't have the corona.

I picked up a few more to try - some people never give up hope. I still have 50 to 100 of the few good Gurkhas with up to 7 years of aging. I did clean out most of the yard Gurks, but it's hard to find them all or to determine when they went to hell (internet cigars).
