Welp... had a procedure scheduled to remove the sty from my right eye on June 9th. Doctor's office just called and said they can do it tomorrow at 1430.

Well, damn... I was gonna look at trucks tomorrow, but okay.

Had a pterygium removed 11-ish years ago and while I swore nothing was being done to my eye, I asked my doc when he was gonna start and he said he’d been working on it for about 20 minutes and was almost done! I imagine medical technology has made vast improvements by now and your procedure should be even more ezy peazy!

Had to drag myself outta bed today. Deep asleep two days in a row late into the afternoon but feel like I barely slept.

Oh well. Back to work. Last one.

And the wife occasionally gets high on something and spends as much as 3 hours hand pruning a very small bush in the backyard... That part is hilarious...

You literally hear her hand pruning a bush on our fence line, she never moves from the spot she's in for hours, the clipping never stops, and she never accomplishes anything... There's nothing to accomplish! It's basically just a little ivy that hangs over the fence... I think she clips one leaf at a time....

Thats meth.

88/69 again today with a 20% chance of rain. Same chance for today, which I wouldn't mind to cool things off and improve or seasonal drought.

One more day! Congrats, oh and my 3 boxes hit last week from the order a month or so ago, I blame the Rona. JL #1's was one of mine as well, also some 5 yr old JLP's cause I'm cheap and another tin of Vegueros 'cause my first one is almost gone. Hidden gems, I saw some mentions in here recently, now they will be going up in price too, GEEZ!

oh yeah, morning all, Grandpa's daycare open again today, just the grandson today, though. Big Sis is staying with some cousins for a couple days. I go back to bed once he gets here for more beauty sleep, sometimes until 9 or so. At least they are good about laying up with me so I can let the morning meds get going good.

Throat is sore and I'm hoping it's a new pollen that's popped out, don't need no stinking summer cold or Rona.

AND, Don't be bad!

Mornin' dudes... currently 53 with a high of 68. Might need a sweatshirt.

Up way too early, but I suppose I'm still adjusting to sleeping on a regular schedule... at night... when I'm supposed to be asleep.

Cup of coffee... morning walk... and then shower n shave.

With or without a boat?!

Any new prospects yet?

Speaking of fishing, I just showed the 3 year old Grandson the certificate and fancy card for his Lifetime Hunting/Fishing license. All my grandchildren in TN get that for their 3rd BIrfday. Best 200 bucks EVER!!! He will be set for life. Doesn't have to pay for the yearly, the Migratory State bird fee, quota hunts and that adds up! That also includes a lifetime subscription for the TWRA magazine as well. Every fall the back cover has the Elk Quota hunt application. That's something I would LOVE to see one of them get drawn for because I would fund the trip to East TN for that one! I can start that soon for his big Sister and every year she doesn't get drawn, she gains points to move her up for a better chance at the draw. I think they pull 11 each year, not positive, I haven't checked on it for a couple of years. They started with 7 and may have gone up again from 11. They are doing well and have been moving off the mAnagement area where they were relocated to get them started. A fully loaded SPortsman's License is almost 200 bucks for me for just ONE year!!!

HE was interested, but he doesn't quite get it yet, LOL. That's normal, but he did say OO mean for WIFE! Interesting conversation, even for one that young, but he saw a freshly killed turkey this year, so he understood that part. Caught a fish last summer late in the year, so he remembers that one as well, when I told him about the fishing part, he said I can use my Paw Patrol fishing thing.

So I downloaded the Sam's Club App... scanned stuff as I put it in the basket, paid in app when I was done, and walked out the freakin' door just showing the receipt on my phone.

Well that was convenient as f---.

The self checkout haters gonna hate you! Personally, I like self check out and that app sounds like a nice feature.

We have a lot of self checkout lanes in local stores, but they are closely watched and each product must be weighed in the process. We have a nearby gypsy or so called irish travelers camp/neighborhood and they are constantly trying to scheme checkout lines.

We have a Sam's but prefer Costco, I hope they get a similar app.

I have both memberships, Gene. Costco app does not allow for the scan n go, so I didn't bother to download that one. I prefer Sam's for some stuff and Costco for others.
