Ya, high humidity with the occasional warm breeze... But only in my pants...

Outside, dry and no wind to be found...

How's the new piece?

Opel, is it arid where you live? Those temps would be rough where I live due to humidity. Though being right on lake Michigan does keep us somewhat cooler than inland.

We used gorilla glue on it so it is functioning OK. A replacement is arriving in 5-10 days. Meanwhile, my daughter came home for the weekend and she brought hers. It has a cool diffuser and hits nice. She doesn't want it anymore and gave it to my son.

Holy carp its warm out.

Walk with the family got a good rolling sweat going.

Wife wants me to bake a pizza in my new grill. Experimented with frozen pizza when I bought it, she's making pizza from scratch. Hopefully I dont screw it up.

tried to mow again. Too wet n soupy. Knocked down some of it but got sick of getting stuck.

I should probably just buy a set of AG tires for the mower.

Odd you should mention that! Thunder rumbled just as I read your post! I wasn't expecting any rain, I thought I looked at the weather app on the phone and we didn't have any chance of rain. Oh well, here in West TN, it's never a sure thing. When those clouds come across the MS River, they can change immediately.

G'day folks.

I always remember Memorial Day and what it means. As a 7-8 year old, I attended a funeral for a well liked young man from our small home town. He was a year older than my oldest Sister, so about 12 years older than me. He was killed in action in Viet Nam in 1970. That was something I will NEVER forget. At the cemetery, they had two guys about 200 ft apart, and one was just out of sight, they played an "Echoing" version of Taps! That was something that will stick with you forever!

After that, the POW bracelets started becoming more well known. I wore one for around a year, maybe longer until that man was finally released. Maj. Robert D. Peel of Paris, TN.

Grilled pizza needs some practice but turned out pretty good. I threw a lump of hickory in the coals, that was excessive. And it needed about two more minutes in there, center of the crust wasn't quite done.

I think next time I start with the pizza stone up to temp before putting the raw dough on rather than heat em together.

I did not end up using Costco, but I did get the RAM 1500 Laramie with the Hemi. 12" touchscreen entertainment system is awesome. Sirius XM all access for a year doesn't suck. Got almost what I wanted for the trade ($500 under) even though my wife's accident showed up on the carfax.

I traded her car and she took mine. Hers had 51,000 miles and base model. Mine has 34,000, Nav and Sport pkg. So she upgraded a little.

Got it in white since it doesn't fit in the garage. White paint holds up way better in the sun.

Here's what they don't tell you... #1 - if you take the 0% you get no incentives. #2 - you will not qualify for all the incentives, nobody does. #3 - they got you in, and now they're going to put the screws to you to get every last dollar.

I walked away from 2 deals and was talking with 5 dealerships (Ram and Ford). I walked away from this one and the sales manager came out to my car after I started it and took more money off the price and gave me more for my trade. Still not exactly what I asked for, but fair enough I did it.

Financed the remaining balance through NFCU for 5 years at 2.19%. Total interest on the whole loan is around $1800 if I take it to term.

Sounds like a nice rig, now you need something to put it to work, say something on a trailer with pointy end and a propeller opposite end.

Our local dealer recommends taking the incentives up front vs zero percent. You are better off you decide to trade before the loan is paid off. Because most of the loans are front end loaded if your vehicle was destroyed in an accident the insurance payoff probably would not cover the loan balance.

Just like leasing a car and buying gap coverage you can purchase a new vehicle and buy what is generally called "new car" coverage. It protects you against the front-loaded depreciation. Should your vehicle get totaled, you make a claim and get a brand new identical vehicle of the current model year. IMO, it is a necessary coverage and it only costs about $5/month.

Woke up to pee... couldn't get back to sleep. Coffee.

I didn't bother with gap. I traded a car that was paid off, so I won't have any negative equity. Basically 40% down.

Well, yeah... but you don't want to spend it all in one place, either. And hey... my insurance went down.

It would barely fit if I didn't have the shelves in front.

Congrats Shawn. Fish on! (thats what they yell at the dealer)

It will be 103 here today but I won't complain because I'll be on the golf course. Later this week when it hits 112 I might complain a little.

Watching any Bundesliga as you await the EPL to return?

Ate the leftover pizza for breakfast.

Wife went for walk by herself and the dogs cause the boy keeps being a PITA on our walks.

Gonna give the yard some time to dry out and try mowing again.

That sucks. Now you'll have to get up early in the morning before work to warm it up, brush off the snow and scrape the windows in the winter.

Oh the torture, the pain, the agony... MAKE IT STOP!

Warming up here today, put in the 2nd tillA/C yesterday morning in anticipation. Mowed some of the back lawn and then rototilled the garden again. Today I'll try to finish the back lawn and the front lawn section east of the driveway. Might work on the weedwhacker if the part comes in the mail. Probably start mapping out the garden plan.
