What’s up everybody. I’m new to this site. Any reconmendations on medium bodied cigars. I’ve worked my way up from light/mild. I really enjoy MF Flor de Las Antillas sungrown and Leaf by Oscar Sumatra wrapper. Thank you in advance.

Leaf by Oscar cigars come wrapped in an outer leaf (intended to be removed before smoking) that makes the cigar look wrinkly, crappy and messy.

I hear they're also going to introduce a cigar line soon that has the finest-looking, best-fitting outer leaf you can imagine and they're going to call it Leaf by Felix.

Rumor has it, if you put them both in the same humidor they bicker constantly and can't get along.

Look to the Fuente Family of cigars.........lots of medium bodied sticks to choose from and all are as consistent as the industry provides.

Fuente 858 cameroon or sungrown......both are excellent but I love SG's
Fuente Cuban Beli Sungrown
Fuente Magnum R's.......the 44 and the 52 are my go to's
Hemingway Signature cameroon or sungrown...........same here

Drew Estate MUWAT Nightcrawlers (they're the 4.5x50 "Rothschild" vitola) are great medium-bodied cigars, but IMO they have to sit for at least 2 years before they get really good, and they need to be dryboxed 1-2 days and smoked SLOWLY to get the best results.

The Espinosa Comfortably Numb Vol. 2 is a surprisingly good medium-bodied smoke too, but only after about 6 months of age, in my experience.

Also try some of the Connecticut-wrapped AJ Fernandez stuff.

I used to be a Med-Full smoker but have slowly moved more towards Med strength / body smokes. With that being said, here are a few brands I’ve found to fit that bill:

A. Fuente - adding to Whistle’s and DED’s suggestions - the Chateau Fuente series and 8-5-8 Maduro

Guardian of the Farm - I’ve enjoyed all of the vitolas I’ve tried - Apollo, JJ and Rambo

HVC - the owner, Reiner Lorenzo, likes to smoke 3-4 cigars a day so blends more towards Med. I’ve had a few but my favorite blend is the La Rosa 520. I also enjoy the Edicion Especial 2018 Corona.

Good luck in your search.

Medium bodied smokes are only for when you have time for 2 full bodieds afterwards to make up for lost time.

Try some more My Father offerings.
Cuban classic, blue label, La antiguedad I even consider their Connecticut a medium body. Very good for what it is and that's the only Connecticut I smoke.

La duena is a good medium smoke. Just stumbled upon them in my cooler. Forgot what I had. Also questioning why I have bought so many things to only bury them in the madness. Then can’t find them so smoke whatever is near the top

don't listen to anyone in this forum. all they do is tell you to buy over priced sh*t that isn't better than most three dollar cigars. example; smoke Padron. The regular Padron line is a hardly average boring as hell $9 waste. Anyone who buys and smokes them is a moron.Flapper
