Just another meme, but the the so called, "Non-Player Character" face is on the winning side.

As I posted elsewhere, that is not the "NPC" face...
Victor on another thread wrote:

a know Gene... the types of media you keep coming across tells me your circle seems to overlap a lot with 4chan/8chan (aka white supremacists and incels).

Let's take a look at what we have here....
On the right is "Doomer" Doomer is a variant of Wojak intended to indicate despair or nihilism over the end of the world. Doomer comes straight from 4chan. Wojak itself was originated elsewhere, but is very popular in 4chan/8chan and is frequently paired with pepe the frog (pepe the frog has been co-opted by white supremacists and incels)

On the left is "Soy Boy" or "nu-male" Wojak. Just given the name, I'm assuming you are smart enough to realize it's also something that originated with the incels/white supremacists.... (but what do I know... maybe you aren't smart enough to pick that up).

So... you posted another image with origins in the white supremacists/incels groups.

What's funnier about the entire thing is that the image argues that the 2nd amendment protesters aren't actually that concerned about government overstep. They're only concerned about the government overstep when it's something important to them... like haircuts. If it's people of a political alignment which might fight against their guns later, they're willing to watch personal rights disappear to a government with little accountability.

Real conviction there.... real conviction.

Since this dumb "MeMe" has been brought up again, I'd like to point out that unlike how it is described in the idiotic strawman argument in the cartoon, this does not have to be a binary issue.
One does not have to be support the cause of the current protests to see government overstep.

The meme stupidly implies that one should allow the government to abuse the rights of citizens it doesn't agree with, because later they may protest your rights.
Someone who was actually concerned about government tyranny, would simply start a different protest against government tyranny. If that were actually a concern.

The cartoon's simplistic arguing lays bare the simple fact that it never was about protecting our bill of rights from an overbearing government. It was just about having guns.

Yup, the NRA sucks The Firearms Policy Coalition, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownershi and The Second Amendment Foundation is much better.

I don't know much about it but there is also NAAGA, the National African American Gun Association.

Oh sure a regular genius, making assumptions on two examples and magically extrapolating conclusions. Why you're a regular one man conspiracy sleuth, statistical wizard and clairvoyant.

sigh.... this isn't something that requires extrapolation or anything.

These "characters" were created to symbolize specific things. They were created by members of 4chan/8chan. It is documented what they are meant to represent.

Funny enough, your cartoon matches exactly what they are intended to represent by the message boards where they were created. So I don't know why you would bother claiming it requires some clairvoyance. I'm just telling you where these characters originated.

If a character/meme originated in a forum dedicated almost essentially to white supremacists and incels, and eventually got to you, then somewhere up that chain you'll find a person frequenting the white supremacist/incel sites.

So... from my perspective, I'm the last person in that chain. Two memes which use characters developed in those forums have now shown up in social media I frequent. Both of these memes originated from one person. As someone who wants to be nice, I've informed that person the provenance of those memes.

You've pretended that this is some imagination of mine.

I would think if you were a responsible person you would question how they got to you, and perhaps go to the person you saw post them and point out that these characters indicate someone up the chain from them is awfully comfortable with white supremacists/incels.

But you chose a different path. I honestly don't understand why you are choosing to claim this is some "clairvoyance" "statistical wizardry" or whatever you're claiming.

In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That’s why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”.

You could just look at the meme for the message. If you must, imagine the characters as stick figures. The faces, other than their expressions are irrelevant. I aww the nondescript nature of the faces as a way to avoid offending anyone.

What you saw, and what is intended by the artist don't have to match. Additionally, the provenance of any message, while not actually changing the message, can lead to questions about what other beliefs the person bringing the message may hold.

Let's play a pretend game.
1st scenario - You see a cartoon about Soros funding those clintons. You think the message is hilarious. But the depiction of Soros uses the jewish caricatures promoted by white supremacists.

If you re-post that, you are not just posting the message you find hilarious... but also whatever additional messages in the caricature which white supremacists want to promote (ex... big nose, money grubbing, media controlling, whatever).

2nd scenario - someone posts a hot bikini clad girl on cbid. Great photo. You see on the news later that she was Miss Hitler (apparently this is a thing) 2018.

In this scenario, you have to ask yourself what you know about the person who initially posted that photo. Did they know she was miss hitler? Do they frequent a site that promotes things like Miss Hitler? Maybe they don't know... Perhaps you should tell them so other people don't ask the same question when they post it somewhere else.

Gene, your memes are always alt right circle jerks. Only someone seriously alt right would find them funny. Ya wanna tell me who asked the gun carrying portion of the country to go militia and save us? This is alt right typical BS. The left has not asked for that. To depict the left as such is racist. Even the Looney left has not asked for that. Only a bigot would characterize the left as such, And it is offensive. Remember liberty and justice for all? We are all part of the all. If you want call me part of the looney left. Just remember I am not. You have seen me argue passionately for conservative ideals also. I state what I think, and I don't limit myself with a specific ideology.

No, racist is appropriate. You are denigrating people who are protesting the murder of a black man. The denigration was directed a someone from the left. As there is no truth to the meme, your meme was racist. Overall your memes are bigotted and or racist. But you are correct, I miss spoke when I said all. The alt right is racist and bigoted. I did not say the right was. The looney left is also racist and bigoted. The left is not. Think many things about Victor, but if you want to point him out as a spokesman for the left you are a moron. If you think he is part of the looney left then I am wrong to say you think. You perception of the left is inaccurate. Now go back to your alt right circle jerk. Interesting you would say without quoting Victor. We come to our conclusions in a significantly different manner, and are quite different individuals. Though it is true that either of us reach conclusions due to logic and critical thinking. As we often disagree, why you think I would mimic his logic is absurdly comical. Perhaps one additional similarity is we are comfortable in our own skin and mock stupid or just call it out.

Saying the National Guard is deployed only against blacks sounds pretty bad, maybe raciest, you might want to think that one over.

The character being told to FO is not a black person or a protester, he is calling on Second Amendment Zealots to attack the National Guard troops called out to deal with rioters, he is calling for insurrection. You and I both know the National Guard would not be called out to deal with protestors.

You're calling me and my posts "alt right" so I read the definition from the Southern Poverty Law Center:

Quote:
The Alternative Right, commonly known as the "alt-right," is a set of far-right ideologies, groups and individuals whose core belief is that “white identity” is under attack by multicultural forces using “political correctness” and “social justice” to undermine white people and “their” civilization.

Link: https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/ideology/alt-right

Maybe you didn't understand what you were saying, but if do and you're serious, frankly you can shove that where the sun doesn't shine.

Victor and you, as far as I am concerned, represent your selves by what you post here. I will say both of you struggle to make a point to anyone that doesn't agree with your POV without calling them an idiot, moron or stupid. That said, I was addressing your comments, not those made by Victor. Just to reiterate, what I wrote was, "Without quoting Victor, please explain". I may disagree with Victor, OK a lot, but he can fight his own battles.

"mock stupid or just call it out" Like a window into your mind this tells me a lot about you. If you wish to mock someone, look in the mirror, because you are not the sole arbitrator of truth and knowledge.

Gene, non player characters only exist in computer games. Do you know that? If you look up the definition you will find that out. The only reason real people are called that or portrayed as that, or memes as that is because bigoted people started using it to represent liberals. I guess you will never admit that because you are one of those people. When your opinion is idiotic with no factual basis I will mock you or call you out. Just like in this meme, your opinion is factless, this is a bigoted meme. As are other memes you have posted.

No, I only know what I just found in Google, but I see the parallel. Most of my reading about the Soviet system is related to WWII and post war experiences of Soviet soldiers and Soviet prisoners of war.

It's awesome how the term racist is over used in times like these.

Tail, I'm right 98.2% of the time. I have no respect for Gene. I 100% respect his constitutional right to be who he is. Gene has no respect for me. I assume he has 100% respect for my constitutional right to be who I am. I think for myself. I don't follow anyone's lead but mine, with one exception, I let my wife win always while still noting my disagreement if I feel strongly enough about the topic. I thought that through for myself and decided that is what I wanted.

I don't have to be quite about what I find morally empty. I really don't care who I offend, they have offended me. You don't like that, fight back, leave, mock me, or block me. I didn't do that for a long time here. I do now, get used to it.

Anyone here who thinks their words hurt me doesn't know me. It just makes me argue more for the hell of it. There are some scared white men here that are angry because their way of life no longer represents the United States. There are some white men here who are bigots, or racists, or white supremacists.

Anyone who doesn't like what I'm saying, get over it or fight back, I really don't care what you do. Also I laugh at some of the posters here a lot. Out of respect for the Vherf I don't join in, I would call people out there and laugh at them, and that surely isn't the reason for the Vherf.

To be fair, we all behave ourselves on the Vherf. I've been on twice and haven't had to laugh at anyone yet.

Tail, I'm right 98.2% of the time. I have no respect for Gene. I 100% respect his constitutional right to be who he is. Gene has no respect for me. I assume he has 100% respect for my constitutional right to be who I am. I think for myself. Dude, you sound like tailgater.
Well, except for the "they have offended me" part.
I don't get offended.
I get even.
