Making a beer today... An IPA kit... Nothing special, just need to get the kit out of my storage.

Already accidentally boiled over a bit. Sigh..

You Eastern boys need to come visit the Grand Canyon. Over a mile down and of course back up. The rim to rim Trail is 21 miles. I have done it backpacking and running many times.

I'd love to go someday. Dunno how the family would feel about 21 miles up n down a mile elevation. The boy complains endlessly with 3-5 mile relatively flat hikes.

Wanted to go to the gym... wife wants to go for a walk. I suppose I could do both, but that'd be awfully energetic.

Got the camper home.

Drove down there straight from work, hitched up and towed home.

Backing in, I hugged the tractor in the driveway as close as I could. Actually rubbed on the tractors rear tire for a foot on the side of the camper (backing in blind) oh well. I backed in with momentum so I wouldn't get stuck once the drive wheel left pavement. Had a little wheelspin in the grass backing uphill once the drive wheels were in the grass but i had enough momentum to get the camper back on its gravel driveway.

And as usual some jackass is laying on the horn while I'm backing in cause he can't afford to wait 30 seconds for me to clear the road. He drove onto the grass ditch edge (sharp 10-15ft drop 2 ft from pavement) to get around the nose of my truck before I even cleared the centerline. I was hoping he would fall in. I haven't seen a car go down there since like February ish.

I'm getting tired of doing things after work. That was the last of the planned things that needed done during work week. Hopefully the next two days are uneventful. If the grass seed gets delivered ill throw some down but otherwise I just want to unwind and go to bed.

Showered, now beer n cigar in the garage.

Hey, you claim to want to get back in shape. I believe you. Do both. I dropped over 100lb. No surgery no fads, no weight loss drugs. Did a couple of cool sculpting sessions when at lowest weight to kill off fat cells. Now building lean muscle. Back to 180 lb. I think at 6'4" 205-210 will be about right. Not looking to have body builder look. More looking for swimmer look. I am down to 1 heart medication. Before this I was taking 9 medications. Everyone here please do what you can, it will improve your life. Looking deeper at some medical health concepts my health is the equivalent of the average 35 year old. Yeah, I'm bragging. I think I've earned that right.

500 mile round trip to Tallahassee yesterday to pick up the last of the crap my son left there. Lease is over in a few weeks. He just got notice that his classes will all be on line in the fall. We are discussing whether he should live at home or not. He sure could save a lot of money on room and board. But, I understand that he wants to live in a college environment. It's a lot of money extra and I hate to see him take out additional loans to cover living at school. We'll see.

Today started with a runeto Target, Costco and Publix. Got all of our shopping done. Now, I need rest to recover from yesterday.

Spey, you have earned that right, no doubt about it. The discipline to do what you did is commendable. I know... because I've done it a few times. LOL But at 50 I take no meds, never have, and my BP this morning was 117/74 heart rate 60 bpm.

Wife decided she wanted to cook, instead. Went to the gym and saw a buddy from work. Fastest 45 minutes of cardio I ever did... we BS'ed the whole time and it flew by. Weight training was legs and shoulders.

Moving is not a problem. My diet is where I need to be more disciplined. I love food.

Today be 13 days without a day off, loving it. Been along time since I’ve been hitting the road this hard. If I didn’t have a kid I wouldn’t care if I ever went home again.

Hell of a job Spey. I once knew a guy ho was about 80 lbs overweight and taking about ten pills a day. He quit cigarettes, cut back on his eating and ate better food. He exercised daily and jogged whenever he had time. In two years he lost a little over eighty pounds and felt and looked great. Then one day another common friend of ours called and told me he had died.

Over drank this weekend. Add Carolina bbq and eight cigars.

I think I’m finding the pounds Spey has lost.
