what's really "funny" is how many Americans of Asian ancestry who were born in the United States of America, and have no real connection to China, other than parents or other ancestors, and many other Asian-Americans of other nationalities who don't even have Chinese ancestry but just look like kung flu, are being targeted by Trump supporters who are looking for somebody to blame...
these victims of hate crimes incited by the POTUS' rhetoric are every bit as American as he is, and just illustrates the level of racism that continues to exist in the US, and that he intentionally exploits, despite his denials...
picking up on victor's point, I remember the first Japanese player in Major League baseball, Hasanori Murakami, who pitched for the San Francisco Giants in the 60's...the organist at Dodger Stadium played "Sukiyaki" a Japanese pop tune that made the charts in the US every time he entered a game...funny, but I wasn't as racially sensitive then...
