Took my old rocker recliners to Goodwill... they were full and were not accepting any donations. (yeah, really?) Went to Salvation Army and they were happy to take them.

Got 2 new theater style recliners for the man cave. Power recline and headrest, but they don't rock. Storage in each armrest plus 3 USB ports and a plug... aaaaaand... each armrest has a cupholder.

ALways nice to get a new recliner.

I'm glad Goodwill had NO room, that place is NOT a charitable organization and the guy who owns it is not a good man. Salvation Army does some good and charitable stuff in some areas.

Fell asleep in my garage recliner for a few hours. Was planning on smoking salmon and serving on potato cakes for dinner. Fish sitting in salt n brown sugar brine all day. Missed dinner.

Wife broke open a 2017 behemoth barleywine. Delicious.

Lit the kamado and put the salmon slab on a drying rack in front of a fan. Gonna cook it yet tonight once its air cured.

Made fried halibut. Dredged in flour, zatarans, and black pepper. Fry one side, flip, spread a mixture of mayo and mustard on the fried side. Flip again mayo and mustard again then flip again. Fry till almost black but not quite.

Delicious.

Keep spending money like this, you’ll need to start working so you can retire a third time.

Ya know I can't sit around forever... I've got a line in the water, but I don't want to start anything until I go on my fishing trip to Baja Mexico end of August.

coincidence?

I also got two new recliners, delivered yesterday, for the man-cave: rockers and swivel; power, but no power headrest; one USB port, no cup holders; wallhugger so it fully reclines while only 6 inches from the wall behind it, leaving more space in the middle of the room ...so comfy, I almost dozed off last night watching TV...

gave the wicker chairs to Lauren and Ant, kept the two papasan rockers...

Was surprised to find out approximately 85% of couches and recliners are now powered. Had to hunt hard for a plain leather coach and recliner.

Just like fancy vehicles- the more features they have, the more expensive to fix.

gaddam old farts. Sit in a chair. If you're hungover, lie on a couch.

Good morning, folks.

Sadness. Daughter was supposed to come home for the weekend tonight, but she snapchated a picture of herself on a boat having drinks with a bunch of young adults, without masks. In Palm Beach County, Florida- a place where even the national news designates as a hot-spot. My wife works in a skilled nursing facility and cannot risk exposure. Neither can I for health reasons. We are likely going to tell her she can't come home for the long weekend.

My daughter and inlaws came down from Charleston. My daughter had went to the doctor and they told her she had a sinus infection. Well one of her friends started having the same issues so she went and got tested. It came back positive that's when my daughter and inlaws decided to head back and get tested and she came back positive. My wife had really bad diarrhea and stomach cramps Sunday morning. Then I had the same thing Monday morning but went to work. Neither of us had a temperature. We both are fine now I been cutting grass working in the yard in this good south Ga heat.

I had that too about 4 or 5 weeks ago, but never thought it could be covid. Thought it was just a short lasting viral stomach thing. Hope it was covid, which might mean I have some immunity.

Our whole family went through the same thing 3 weeks ago... very unlikely to have been Corona though cuz we literally don't go out, at all... more than likely just a side effect from the attempted Corona immunization that bill gates snuck into our water supply...

Sadder still,
her behavior indicates that she is not all that concerned about coming home,
Nor about the health and well-being of her parents.

That sucks rfenst

The plan for her to come home was after the party she was at. She f'd up and there are consequences. If she hadn't posted online, we probably would have never know. On a brighter note, she is willing to wear a mask inside the housteand social distance from us. She took a covid test this morning.

Better that you know than have her show up and not tell you. Don't want to start a RIP rfenst too.

Could be the diarrhea was from some other food poisoning or something else that you both had, and that you're currently asymptomatic for COVID.

RIP Corey.... we never saw his asymptomatic ass dying so young,

Sorry to hear Corey. I hope you are asymptomatic.

The Hershey-squirts were likely from drinking too much Clorox disinfectant. I cut back to only three glasses a day and my blurry vision and rashes mostly went away.
