Therein is the rub,
Dems attempts at cancelling, dividing, impeaching, vandalizing, pulling down, burning, destroying, robbing and murdering by Marxist angry hoards terrorizing "History" is like trying to get a splinter out of your eye with a plank. Because most of the history it exposes is that of treasonous, racist and Marxist Democrats. That's the splinter. In today's news the plank.
Mercy!

Fixed it for you.

BTW, didn’t the guy you’re referencing also have ties to some pretty racist people?

Did you have an feel the Obama administration pushed racism?

Cause Donald has so many examples we could publish and anthology.

Depends on how you define racism. Either way, he certainly can’t be accused to being a uniter.

I don't think any one can "unite" Americans who are entrenched within their party or their liberalism or conservatism...we are too polarized and both sides believe they are right...both sides represent minorities, about 30% of voters...

it is the ability to move enough independents to form a majority with one party that a "uniter" can make a difference...and he/she will still be hated by the opposing party...this is how it's been in American politics, and ...

would it be offensive if a group of German Americans erected statues in honor of Hitler, Himmler, Guderian, Rommel and other great Nazi Generals in the middle of town, and fly a banner of a swastika near a Jewish neighborhood?

or if Japanese Americans raise the WWII Rising Sun colors at a town square in Honolulu, along with placement of statues of Hirohito, Tojo and Yamamoto?

wasn't the placement statues of Confederate leaders in prominent public places equivalent?

none of those things are allowed in Germany and in Japan...

Oh good.
I was hoping this thread wouldn't go to waste without some ridiculous hypothetical equivalencies.

They are not in any way ridiculous. The enemy generals in the civil war were enemy generals. Of the losing side. You don't get a statue for losing unless the people are putting it there for another reason. It's certainly not their war winning capabilities.

As for Obama not being a "uniter"... F*xk that. I've decided that's a red herring. "Oh noes, the black president didn't unite a bunch of racists and make them suddenly want to work with Democrats.... " Why would anyone want to unite with them anyway? I literally have zero interest any longer in "uniting" with people who are willing to vote for trump. You unite with a group when they have something worthwhile to bring to the table ..

So if someone don’t agree with you, you have no interest in uniting? Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. BTW, other than by a few people I seriously doubt you would be missed.

Opel, curious question. I follow what you are saying I think. What about a legitimate boycott? Such as boycott Nike due to child labor sweat shops? Or boycott restaraunts and grocery stores that sell Chilean Sea Bass due to endangering the species?

Do you really want to go down that rabbit hole. Nike is but one of perhaps 1000’s of companies whose supply chain uses child labor, forced labor, etc.

While we are at it shouldn’t we boycott restaurants who serve foie gras. After all what is more cruel than shoving funnels down geese’s mouths to force feed them thereby causing the liver to double in size so the can be slaughtered for the prized liver which was diseased thereby causing tremendous pain to its host?

As far as Nike is concerned I quit buying their products and products made for their subsidiaries when they chose to make a washed up quarterback turned petulant child a spokesman.

Those issues pale in comparison to saying something nice about our sitting President!
