We have been quarantined since this whole thing started.... for many months we've not had any fast food, no Starbucks, no grocery stores, no shopping other than online and instacart delivery...

Today, I broke down... see's lets you handpick an order online, pay online, then drive to the shop, call them, they put it outside on a table, go back inside, then you get to walk up and get it... figured that was safe enough, particularly since I knew I'd be the only one there...

Got 2lbs... lots of scotchmallows and raspberry truffles and dark chocolate buttercreams... i let the wife pick 40% of it, which I say is generous since she wastes all her picks on milk chocolate...

Now I'm waiting on a delivery of diamonds and I've got a ton of trimming to do...

Now its 0400, I'm wide awake and got chit to do today. Guess today probably not gonna be the day I get chit done.

Similar bad sleep. 11-4, no problem. 4 until now, I don’t believe I slept at all.

Here we go again.

Good morning all. It is supposed it be nice here today so we are going on a long hike in a kettle moraine type park. We will also pick a location there and meditate. Though we will have some creature comforts, a nice backpacked lunch, plenty of water and a blanket.

Back in college we used to hike and mountain bike in the Kettle Moraine State Forest near Eagle, WI. Great scenery.

Didn't go there for chick hunting. That type of scenery was best seen on campus. Spent many of hours "studying" at the Memorial Union. The Terrace would be a nice place to hang out this time of year.

On a similar note: tentatively planning a trip back home for a week or so this fall sometime (Sept?). Gonna deliver a package to my brother: his mother-in-law. She usually goes there for a visit and stays for about a month. She's up there in age and partially blind so I'll be babysitting her thought the airports and stuff. I'll be splitting time between my brother's place in Waupun and the folks in DePerre. Nothing set in stone yet but I'll let you know as the time gets closer.

Big cool down today from 116 yesterday to 112.

A water line for my underground bubbler system just blew out again. This is about the 4th time on that line within 6 months so I'm sure the line is brittle and I'm going to have to replace about 40 feet of it. Think I'm going to farm this one out since my back would not hold up to all that bending. fog

Seem to have adapted to the altitude with no real issues. The woman doesn't like it because she feels exhausted all the time. I tried to tell her she should probably exercise more at home... She didn't think that my opinion she should exercise more than every day was great advice. Ah well.

Food is good here tho.

Altitude isn't kind to me, more likely to cause more blood clots.

G'Day ALL

To the clinic today for a blood test, hopefully it's thin enough or I will be upping the warfarin/rat poison even more. Couple of shots as well. The biggest hassle is all the idiots that don't want to keep their distance!!!

Ouch. I swear I could open an irrigation repair shop with all the times I have had to repair/replace the damn stuff... I have a guy I used before I started doing it myself, PM me if you want his info ( I assume he is still around).

Thanks for the offer Stogie. I called 1st thing this morning and 3 guy came out and finished the job in about 45 minutes. Would have taken me 3-4 hours and 2 trips to Home Depot and I would now be in traction or trying to borrow Opie's upside down machine so it was worth the $200.

So, in a twist of fate I found someone else's wallet while looking for mine... Dropped it off at the restaurant it was in front of...

Then went back to the restaurant I was somewhat likely to have lost it in front of, try were open now and had found it.. all cash and everything.

While treating myself to a coffee after getting my wallet back, a woman came up asking me if I saw a wallet.

Turns out it was hers I found outside the other restaurant.

Spent the good part of the day rigging the old international tractor to get onto a tow truck. Didn't know the rear tires were "inflated" with water/liquid ballast of some sort. Well that'll cut down the weight by about 1200 lbs if they were 100% water.

Contemplated removing the bucket but instead managed to jack it up and made steel blocks to jam in the hydraulic pistons to keep it up.

That water had anti freeze in it as well, most likely. Standard for most tractors 25 hp or higher.
