Is burning pierside at San Diego Naval Station.Last count 18 Sailors hospitalized with injuries.


Prayers for all injured and their families as well as the many neighboring fire departments assisting.

Certainly those sailors have seen “Trial by Fire”. That explains the low casualty rate and severity. God bless them bringing this under control and preventing what could have much worse.

Plastic,I think,P.U. We heard the X-plosion. We'll be okay though. The Naval commander said the smoke is non-toxic and that nothing harmful is burning. Well,as a former FF,I was always told that smoke from burning structures in it's self is toxic. I guess not. X Frying pan

I saw that too but it may not have mattered anyway,just depends on where the fire started.I'm just glad they had offloaded their ammo..........that could have made things even worse than they are.
