Corey, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It's never easy to let them go, even when they are suffering. They are more than just pets to us; they are family.

My wife and I know the pain all too well. My wife had a rescue cat, a Norwegian Forest cat, Sonya, when we first met. A few years later, she was fine one day, and the next she could barely breath. Took her to the vet, and it turned out she was in congestive heart failure. There was nothing they could do for her, except help her pass over the Rainbow Bridge peacefully and painlessly. We were not expecting to have to go through that the night we brought her to the vet, and it still haunts us to this day. Cats are such stoic creatures, and there were zero signs that anything was wrong with her until it was too late. Luckily, she lived to be 13, and had a wonderful 8 years with my wife.

RIP Blue.

Opie, hope you get fixed soon. I hated being put in traction in the hospital. I'm not sure they do that kind of thing anymore.

Got all the equipment over to brother in law's house this morning.

Took a chicken out of the freezer last night and thawed/brined it in a bucket overnight. Never tried doing both at once, hopefully it works.

Cut it in half, grilled half and chopped it up for miscellaneous use and making a batch of butter chicken with the other half.

I've shipped beer UPS and they broke bottles and the box. Twice. I pack them very well, and usps has never broken one. But they've lost two, and maybe 3 now.

Tracking says "package accepted" then 3 days later "in transit, arriving late" hasn't been scanned since Friday when I dropped it off

Not yet Al got his sister which is a different breed but they where bought on the same day .2 weeks apart in age I can't bring a puppy in with her she would kill it. She's an Australian Sheppard and a feisty one at that.

I agree they are the best I will have 2 after my Sheppard passes. Which I hope is a long ways off.

Just got an "unsecured property tax" bill for a boat I sold last October... and I did everything properly through the DMV, too. Since I paid in full for FY 19-20, they probably owe ME money since I sold it 3 months into the year and it was paid in full.

Our state needs the tax revenue. You better just go ahead and pay it.

I kept a copy of the DMV bill of sale paperwork... they'll be getting a copy of that, if anything... not money.

Know why I kept copies? Because I 100% knew this f---ed up state would try this crap.

Think there's a chance they'll refund me some of my tax payment from last year? LOL

Just kidding... that $$ is gone.

getting attacked by a shark has to be a terrible way to die... it's like a contest to see if you can drown or bleed out first and, no matter what, you're gonna win...

Probably.....but it might taste a little funny.....

FYI, I have a severe phobia of clowns, ever since my siblings made me watch Stephen King's IT when I was around 6 years old and our parents were out for the evening on a "date night". Then they locked me in the linen closet and told me mom and dad hated me and were never coming home.
