Mauser WWII Nazi Waffenwerke Brunn "dou./ 42" Code G.24(t) , bought it years ago for 200 bucks. Unfortunately someone refinished the stock and really hurt the value, from what I understand itโ€™s kind of a rare rifle idk.

Had a mac11 380 machine pistol.

Jumped through the hoops and paid out the nose to buy it.

Went to the public range and was quickly grabbed and disarmed by the range officer yelling at me about machine guns. I had my papers but he had the COs out in a minute to remove me from the range. Only two magazines I've ever shot from a machine gun. No posted rules against it (at the time - they were added later)

I'd bought it registered from an estate for 2k, knowing it was worth 5. Had to pay a lawyer to setup a trust to buy it, and like 20% to the auction house, so it was $2600 home to me I think. Spent a lot of money on 380 ammo, bought a couple extra magazines. But that was its only outing. Wish I'd kept it with what I know now - can put other uppers on there basically using nothing but the serial number on the lower.

The fire rate is insane on those. I think i cleared my two magazines in under 6 seconds even accounting for the mag change. 30rds in a second max.

I thought it silly to own after learning I cant shoot it at any private or public range in the area, and it eats a box of 380acp in less than 2 seconds thats $20/second to run the thing.

I put it on consignment at a local SOT dealer who only wanted 10%. Got $4k so I took home $3600. Subtract the magazines and case I sold it with i probably pocketed $500 through it all. Enough to cover my time and hassle of dealing with NFA stuff.

Just gonna stick to SBRs and suppressors for now. Subguns are fun, but thats the end of it. Can get the experience at a rental range and not deal with ownership.

As kids we once built a sling shot that was 6' long and about 6" thick at the forks. Stuck in the ground with concrete and used a bike inner tube. Took two of us to pull it back and would shoot a green grapefruit about 200 yards.

Police were eventually called.

Haha!

I just started an antique weapon collection. My first gun is an 1859 J Jarre harmonica pistol made by Walter Browning.

When we were young, we built a shoulder fired rocket launcher we called Knock Knock, complete with plexi blast shield and electronic firing. Was fun to shoot down the street ๐Ÿ˜€.

Most unique thing I own now is either my EAA Witness or my AK-V.

Pre WWII Drilling. 16 Gauge double barrel over a 8X57 8mm. Probably brought back after the war. I stole it from a locale gun collector (college professor) in 1971 for $300.00 when I was 19.

Regretfully , I sold it in 1981-82 for $1200.00, and a new Ruger .44 carbine that I sold the next week for $200.00. Times were a little tough with our second child on board and the wife not working. I miss it but would do it again under the same circumstances.

I have a Remington .221 Fireball bolt action pistol. They're a little unusual.

XP-100?

Those are really neat guns. Not particularly valuable, but rare enough they might be in another 20 years.

I looked at one, was seriously considering it for $450 but I bought something else thats probably long been resold.

1976 Bicentenial Colt collection. Only had it a day and sold it to my uncle at cost. I can't even remember how many guns were in the case, but I remember it was $ 1200.03.
