After 15+ years I've finally paid off every single credit card account. At the worst I had about 25k. Wife was only paying minimums for almost 10 years. Long story I've told before.

There's probably something on the one card I still use for gas n stuff where there's a public access reader cause I got skimmed twice so I'll never use a debit card there anymore.

Sent out the last $1500 today with the money I got from selling the camper.

Great feeling.

Student loans are done, credit cards are done. Got about 10k on HELOC, 30k on the house. 10k on wifes car and 20k on new truck. Barring any new big expenses im on track to be debt free by 40 easy. Then i can redo the kitchen and bathroom.

Dan I'm not trying to rain on your parade but .....................at 58 I've been debt free a half dozen times.Currently I owe about 25K on wifey's Highlander, maybe 3K on a couple low interest credit cards and 5K to various doctors and one hospital.House is paid for,my pickup is paid for.Up until a few months ago I owed on wifey's Highlander.........and that was it.I'll be debt free again in six months..........hopefully for the last time.

Live and learn.

Now gotta work on the vehicles and the HELOC. Bumped up withholdings to 401k to 10%.

Debt free for about 28 years. Only debt b4 that was truck payment - couldn't resist the no interest loan.

I still have the house and truck. Nothing else to pay on. When I get those knocked out... I'll get the boat... maybe.

Cleaned up the tuna and got them vacuum sealed and in the freezer. The mahi-mahi is trimmed, seasoned and ready for lunch (mahi burgers).

My cat is very pleased with me this morning. She probably just ate a 1/4 lb of fish trimmings.

I did. I left Thursday night at 9pm. Overnight trip on the Pacifica. 34 yellowfin tuna, 32 mahi, 12 yellowtail for 30 passengers. I did alright... I landed 1 mahi and 2 yellowfin tuna. Lost a mahi at the rail trying to bounce it in because the hands were all busy gaffing other fish. Those 32 mahi came on 1 stop at first light in about 15-20 minutes. I broke the first one off, landed the second, lost 2 more.

Then I went 0-fer on 2 stops... bummer. Last stop I hooked and landed the 2 yellowfin.

No, they were further away and as finicky as they are, I can't blame the captain for targeting the yellowfin and mahi... though the day before it was wide open and Friday they seemed pretty finicky themselves.

Yeah... it's still debt.

Mahi burgers for lunch. Seasoned some filets... got lettuce, tomato, red onion and burger buns... and curly fries. I'll fry the filets in olive oil/butter and drop 'em on the toasted buns with the other ingredients and a bit of mayo. Mmmmmm... fresh fish.

Appleton!

Back in ‘93, I was scheduled to attend a brokers meeting for Scott Paper in Oshkosh. Due to my bosses’ lack of airport geography knowledge, he booked my flight from Chicago to Green Bay. As I found out later, the better / closer airport should have been Appleton. Nonetheless, it was quite a thrill for me to land at Austin Straubel, even if it was early March...brrrrrrr!

Deleting all my chit, think I’m gonna go back to flip phone. If I didn’t drive truck I’d strictly use a land line. Who’s idea was it to get rid of pay phones? ???

Can anyone of you fellas tell me if PayPal and Emil works on a flip phone like it does and iPhone? Wonder if the kids daycare would take a physical check every week instead of a PayPal payment every week. I’m trying to drop off the grid as humanly possible
