Nice work...

I don't have steaks thawed, but I do still have Mahi filets. Kinda feelin' like a Round Table hearty bacon supreme, though...

Extra olives and you could have a Bloody Spaniard...

Temecula olives. Bloody’s would have come from southern Spain.

My daughters teacher has a crazy system for organizing the kids weekly work... or rather, she has a crazy system for trying to get parents to organize the weekly work...

She gave us 6 folders... each folder has one assignment for each week (6 weeks worth)... every Friday she confusingly walks us through taking the next week's assignment out of each of the 6 folders and placing it into one of 3 other folders...

She could've done all this work already and just given us 6 folders, each with that weeks work... it would've been easier, even for her...

Last Friday, I wasn't even trying to have it... i turned off the zoom meeting and just took this weeks work out of each of the folders and put it in a pile...

As it turns out, this is a way easier strat than digging through a bunch of different folders looking for pages that may or may not be where they should be... one small pile has everything for the week...

So, are you saying you have issues with this teacher?

Truthfully, it's a great experience for us... if my daughter was behind closed doors with this woman, it'd be awful... but walking her through having a bad teacher gives us the opportunity to teach her to respect authority figures but not take them too seriously...

And this crazy folder system has given me the opportunity to show her how to work within the system without being a cog... we're following the spirit of the law whilst ignoring the letter thereof, and I think that's a good thing to learn to do...

Guess I got what I deserved
Kept you waitin' there too long, my love
All that time, without a word
Didn't know you'd think that I'd forget
Or I'd regret

The special love I had for you
My baby blue.....

We had a problem when Noah was in second grade. We scheduled a meeting with the principle and the teacher and hashed it all out. He was in another teacher's class the next day. She caught **** and was complaining about it later on and got written up.

It didn't hurt that my wife was PTA president. Herfing

But seriously, make an appointment and go in and express your concerns about your daughter's education. YMMV

Went to the gym early. Took a shower when I got home, then had breakfast. Got bored, so I changed the oil in my truck... and now I need a shower.

Looking to kinda zeroscape the front yard this week... basically, I plan on mowing one more time in my life and then I'm done... gonna cut a deep edge and do the cheap plastic border, weed cloth both plots of grass, and cover the whole thing in bark... then I'm gonna burn my lawn mower...

I put artificial grass and decorative rock in my back yard. Stays clean, no weeds, no mowing, no water...

Still have real grass in the front. Can't stop watering or my white ash tree, which shades my house nicely, will not fare well.
