Depends on your perspective.

Fingerprints in the mail to the ATF, mailed a copy of the application to the sheriff's dept, paid my $200 tax stamp, now for the waiting part.

Good news is form 1 efiles are usually done within a month, not like the form 4 I just received after 6 months.

Built an upper for father in law's birthday and Christmas gifts. He got a lower for father's day, gonna get a barreled assembly for his birthday, and the rest for Christmas.

I initially was going to do an A1 build fixed stock Vietnam era build, but the lower I was able to get my hands on already had a multi position stock on it and that determined the rest. Went M4 style with carry handle and adjustable sights I think M4A1? I dunno all the intricacies. Got a 16" barrel, non-railed handguard, picatinny receiver rail, bayonet lug, and a birdcage muzzle brake. Looks damn good.

Easy decision. Do you have one?

If not: you need one.

Afternoon all. Off of the Percocet today, just Tylenol. Already minimal pain compared to before surgery. Start PT on Saturday. On crutches now. After 7 days a walker, 3 weeks start walking.

I almost bought a savage 6.5 creedmor this week, Academy had them for 300 bucks with a scope. Then I figured I didn’t need another gun that just sits in the safe.

Word to the wise... take one of those percocet 1 hour before PT.

You're welcome.

When I had my shoulder surgery in 2014, I only took the pain pills for the first and second day. As long as I didn't try to lift my hand above my head there was no pain.

Went to PT the first time after a couple weeks and it was agony. Figured out WHY my doctor gave me 60 of them. He gave me 10 mg Norco, though... not sure if percocet is stronger or weaker, but taking one before PT made it bearable. Still hurt, but not as bad.

Edit: Percocet > Norco... looked it up.
