So going for a walk on crutches in retrospect was a bad idea. I went about 4 miles and was so worn out I had to call my wife to get me.

She arrives and says not a word, picks me up and we go home. Cool, she is not going to tell me I told you so. We sit down for lunch and she says " Well Forrest, and more ideas for today? Not going to say anything? ".

" Dear, have I used up my quota of stupid for today? Hopefully I will be less wrong tomorrow. "

" Ask me the next time you want to be less correct, I will point out how to be less wrong. "

" Yes dear. Sighhhhh. "

Gun range was fun. Every lane was full, so we ended up on the 100yd range with nothing that could do well at 100yds. Had two guys who hadn't shot before, they had a blast and got to shoot a variety of guns.

I brought my 22 AR, 22 pistol (shared suppressor between the two), 357 revolver, my little LCR 38 revolver, an LCP 380, Colt 1911 and a Beretta in 45, a couple ARs in 556, and a 9mm Glock.

We burned through every last round I brought, about 1500 from my stash. Brother in laws brought some too.

We gave up on hanging targets and just tried to get the dirt pops on the backstop in the same spots.

Was a good time.

Had a few beers and cleaned some of my guns, now out back getting the charcoal going to grill some brats.

Country roads SUCK in a HD pickup.

I hurt from the drive to n from the range. On the way there, had some misunderstanding and older brother in law showed up at the range when we were sposeda meet up at his house to ride together an hour away.

Younger brother in law and I drove down fast, 50-70mph on country roads, one was gravel.

The truck took it in stride, never lost footing, but barreling down a washboard gravel road at 50mph beat me up pretty good.

I know I'm getting old when I injure myself driving a vehicle and didn't crash... i used to drive slammed to the ground Hondas n stuff with race seats no padding and basically on no suspension and now I feel like imma pee blood after going down public roads in a pickup

Just got back from a few days in the mountains. The trail the wife and I picked this morning went through alligator junipers and into ponderosa pines. Saw the biggest buck I have ever seen in over thirty years of hunting with bow and rifle. He was a 5 point (western count) on each side and only about 60 yards away. Iffn' I still hunted I know where I would be opening morning.

Morning.
Really slept in. Need coffee real bad.
Nothing to do today but watch football, hang out around the pool.
Wish I could do both at once.

Red and green hot sauces. What foods favor green? Same question red.

Red on eggs... if I'm going to put hot sauce on my eggs (and I am) it's Frank's red hot or Tapatio.

Ketchup on eggs? What kind of troglodyte would do such a thing?

I usually use red for everything cause that's what I have or made. Both are delicious. Try a bit of both with whatever you are eating and decide from there.

Doesn't matter the color, just the flavor.

Try this stuff, it's incredible.

Elijah’s Xtreme Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce...................excellent on eggs, hell I eat it on almost everything. Not nearly as hot as it sounds and the best flavor of any hot sauce I have ever tried.

On chicken or pork try Pickapeppa Spicy Mango Sauce.................fantastic flavor and even my wife who is extremely heat intolerant likes it in small doses.

I used to LOVE the Taco Bell green sauce, but they stopped using it a decade or more ago.
It was vinegar based and on the mild side, yet still flavorful.

Agree on green with eggs. I always put chopped green hot peppers in eggs so green but you can't go wrong either way iffn' the sauce is tasty.

Took the corvette out for a Sunday morning romp. Pulled up to a 2020 vette at a stop light and the guy asked if I wanted to trade. I'm still thinking about it.Think
