Howdy folks! Some of y'all were instrumental in getting me set up with my new wineador a month ago-thank you!

Still waiting on my cedar shelves for over a month, from you know who. In the meantime, I have about 60 sticks sitting in a couple open cigar boxes inside the fridge.

Using the LARGE 65% Boveda.

Fridge cools to 66%F(highest it'll let me set).

It's been a couple weeks, and I can't get humidity to drop below 70%.

Anything I'm missing or not thinking of? No condensation in the back or on the bottom.

Many thanks in advance!

Digital hygrometer? And if you ordered it from a certain someone that says "3 weeks" shipping, you might want to just cancel that order. You won't get them any time soon. I was patient for over 6 months, yes months. What wineador do you have?

You're welcome!!!

Now quit putting sh*tty cigars in that thing and buy some good stuff.

(Once you fill it up it'll stabilize, use heartfelt beads... you need more than a single boveda pack).

How big is the wine fridge? Small ones don't work so well.

It's a 12 bottle fridge. Large enough for my purposes.

RH has finally started to settle and normalize, but now I've got another weird issue..... I've set it to 66°(highest it will go), but temp keeps dropping to low 60's. I never hear it kick on to cool, and we have house heat set to about 68°.

Putting my hand at the back of the unit.....it's not blowing, but I can definitely feel slow and cool air being circulated.

Any suggestions?

Use it to store wine in.

Maybe just unplug it?

I recently set mine up again after not using it for awhile. It took a bit to before the humidity went down it since it was in the end of the summer. On and off rain outside so ambient humidity was high.

I didn't have the AC going because it wasn't too hot and I prefer open windows and fresh air over AC unless it's oppressively hot and humid.

Agreed. I ordered mine years ago and waited...and waited...and waited....weeks turned into months and patience went out the window. I’m not sure why he just isn’t honest up front. Eventually I got them and they’re nice, but looking back if I knew then I’d have pulled out and looked elsewhere. And since that time there are more options for getting the shelves done and even places that will sell the Wineadors with the shelving already included.

Distilled water things....
Put in a cheap hydrometer and monitor it...
