The last two boxes arrived yesterday. I believe the mail lady will now need to put in for disability. The Fire Marshall is looking at her as an arson suspect. The last boxes threw gasoline on the smoldering remains of our home and re-ignited the blaze. Incredible. AKDave's kindness and generosity are beyond anything I have witnessed in years. The bombing is nothing short of epic.

The boxes were unpacked and the contents recorded. I will try to get pictures up later today after work. It will take multiple pictures to document the width the breadth of the destruction.

In total - 150 cigars including the initial box Dave claims was for "Target Acquisition" - every one unique. Many special and limited editions. These are cigars you only dream about. Most NH's. Those I have enjoyed I would gladly enjoy again. I am awe-struck at the width and depth of the selection.

A beautiful Madspackler shirt, custom engraved drink and ash tray, Glogg, Whiskey cake, beef and salmon jerky, candy, brittle, Bourbon, Rye, BBQ book, BBQ sign, Davidoff Cigar and Drink Pairing box, chocolates, Nerds, Federation Cigar hat, and the list goes on.

I am overwhelmed and overjoyed.

Pictures will never do justice to the scale of this Santa Bombing.

Thank you seems so inadequate.

Santa really does come from Alaska, Dave you have ruined madspackler for any future SS. Sounds like he will spend the next few days doing nothing but research, categorizing and trying to find a place to put the ridiculously generous gifting.

Good to hear everything made it there in one piece. Hopefully you'll find plenty there to enjoy. Please don't hate me by the time you're done cataloging everything. Merry Christmas Eric! Oh and let me know if you have trouble opening the wooden box. I'll help you out.

*Note to self, next year include cigar catalog on USB.

Everything arrived perfectly intact and safe.

Dave - figured out how to open the box within about 10 minutes. I very much enjoyed the challange - and you are a master craftsman. The CC's inside are incredible. Already have plans to put our son's next years Christmas present inside the box and re-gift it.

Figured out most of the cigars over the last two nights. Sometimes Google can be very helpful. My daughter enjoyed helping me determine details about each cigar - in exchange for the Nerds. One of her favorites.

Thank you again.

This has DG name written all over it!- that custom ammo humidor is awesome, I was a previous lucky recipient of a AF box turned into bluetooth speaker. Love the custom stick shelves.

The Post Office finally got back to me after a week to let me know they are looking into it... I was told it may be another week before I hear anything. The woman did say she had another case she just dealt with for a package to Alaska and it did finally arrive after 3 weeks so who knows. In the mean time I'm just gonna go ahead and put something else together and send it out next week. 8 years of shipping packages and it's gotta be this one that screws up. Really sorry you've had to wait this long Dave.

So the Post Office in Anchorage finally got back to me and said give it at least another 2 weeks. Packages coming from the lower 48 are taking up to a month to get there. So fingers crossed. Will still put a contingency plan in place.

Still playing the waiting game on my end. Hope you included some Boveda packs with the cigars, lol. Not sure what the hold up is. I have had no problem getting things mailed to AK from all over the lower 48 the last few weeks with no delays. On a side note thanks for the heads up on the Havana Soul cigars Celtic. They are really good!

How many days of Christmas are there? According to the song, it's 12, right? So, January 5 is the 12th and last day of Christmas, right?

Nope, shaun341 extended my Christmas a few more days...reminding me that Christmas cheers know no time limit.

his Secret Santa 2020 Version 2.0 arrived in the mail last night, with some smokey goodness and warmth. I told him the first box was plenty...more than enough....nope. He carefully wrapped and cushioned two bottles of Hank Sauce Hot Sauce, one Herb Infused, and one Cilanktro...can't wait to open these and give 'em a splash or two or three...

then, also in the box, safely ensconced in a SFR box were ten fine cigars, an Ezra Zion "sampler" and five other specially selected for my enjoyment:

EZ Eminence Tercera Edicion
EZ FHK? no foot band but main band is gold and black like the FHK's, 6 7/8 x 56
EZ FHK beli Honor Series
EZ Jamais Vu Primera Edicion
EZ Tantrum Edicion Limitada
Fuente Rosado Sun Grown Mag 44
Padron Black #89 maduro
Padron Black #89 natural
Tatuaje Little Boris
Tatuaje Stogies H-Town

thank you so very much to an extremely generous, insanely so, Secret Santa...shaun341!!! Happy New Year 2021 to you and your family

So here's a neat twist. The post office has found my packages and they are on the way now. Round and round they go! Did the humipads last? Who knows! They are STILL in Philly but are on the move, supposedly. I think I have a nice lady at the Anchorage post office to thank. I got two calls from her as she tried to help me out. Never heard from the Philly post office and I had to open my cases with the Philly post office twice. Someone just decided to close my service tickets... repeatedly.

Well turns out I have been a good boy after all. I was beginning to fear maybe someone tipped of my Secret Santa to all the bad things I’ve done this past year. Then when nothing came I was even worthy of coal. However it appears Santa just got lost on his way to Alaska. Now everything appears to be intact and in good shape. So on to the damages….

https://imgur.com/a/w17OSyF

SWEETS:
1 box each of the following:
Tastekake Chocolate Kandy Kakes
Tastekake Crème Filled Krimpets
Tastekake Crème Filled Swiss Rolls
Tastekake Butterscotch Krimpets
Tastekake Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes
Tastekake Chocolate Juniors
(My wife complained that every box was expired. I rejoiced cause now I don’t have to share!)

CIGAR ACCESSORIES:
Heartfelt Humidity Tube
San Cristobal Ashtray
Cohiba Lighter
2 other lighters
Perfect Draw Tool
3 Blade Straight Cutter.

LIBATIONS:

CIGARS:
1 Box CC Bolivar
10 Tatuaje Limited
5 Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva

Thank you so very much Celtic for the wonderful gifts! I can finally enjoy the new year right. Guess we can finally close the 2020 Secret Santa. Merry Christmas everyone.
