HHD gents. Spent about two hours digging up two uuugh bunches of pampas grass in the front yard. Going to plant something else once the wifey decides what.

Back hurts today. Think I'll spend hump day being a layabout. After all who pays my rent?

Morning fella's one more to go this week. I went into work early so I could get off to maybe get a run in. Problem is I gotta figure out where. There is a big field where I am at now but there are some wild hogs hanging around . Hell that might just make it entertaining.

Digging isn't as easy as it used to be. The ground is harder due to climate change. I read that on the internet and I'm sticking with it. What is this thing called rent? Or for that matter a mortgage? Buy outright and be done with it. Never had a credit card either pay cash or don't buy it. Though I do have a bank card.

Morning all. It's a great day but don't worry. It is getting better as I type. MACS, does Tanker have you trained yet?

Nope... turns out we're both hard-headed and neither one of us wants to listen. HA!

He's good with sit and down. Adora taught him how to shake. His "stay" is still sketchy, but getting better. Still pulling the leash, but that's slowly getting better. Doesn't listen well while distracted... by anything. He's learning impulse control with his food... I can set it down and he won't touch it until I say it's okay. Unless I walk out of view...

From everything I read this isn't a process that takes weeks... it takes months of consistency. *shrug*

We'll see...

I love Jilly Bean but I've only smoked the concentrate...

Strawberry haze tends to be harsh and the buzz tends to be fuzzy... it's good at times though....

99 problems I'm unaware of...

Quesso perro? Probably from the cheese family which faded into obscurity pretty quickly for some reason...

I'd pack a bowl of jilly and hippie dab that wookie...

Leash training; I had a Great Dane years ago, playing tug of war with a leash is just fun to the dog The book about the breed said to use a choker chain, fitted sungly around the back of the head so that it bears on the back of the skull more than the neck. This signals the dog and doesn't choke them. You hold a short leash directly above the dogs neck with no slack. To leash train a dog, it pretty simple, you start walking, when the dog goes left, you give a tug on the leash and go right, when the dog goes right, you go left. It will require a sharp jerk on the leash, but pretty soon the dog will understand the program. I could just lay the leash on the Dane's shoulder and she would follow me.

Gene, he has a Martingale collar, which tightens but doesn't choke. I'm really trying to get him to do this willingly and not through pain compliance. They've also got a gentle lead leash that turns the head back towards you when they pull.

Might have to try that.

I used to watch Cesar Milan all the time on TV. Let me know if I can help.

HA! I've watched probably 100+ videos of him, Zak George, McCann Dog training, etc... plus read 2 books. I feel I know just enough to mess with the dogs head and confuse him. lol

I hear you but pain is a relative thing, just watch how larger puppies play fight, dogs are quite physical, you have to be the pack leader, not the pack pet-o-matic treat dispenser, you must be the Navy Chief.

Mornin' dudes. Wife usually gets up at 4am. I heard a "sh-t" this morning and knew she slept a little later, so I got up and made her coffee and packed up the lunch she prepped the night before.

Aaaaaand now I'm awake.

Happy Thursday! Moms birthday is today, we are gonna celebrate tomorrow and order Chinese food. Gonna try to get an oil change today after work if I get out on time and don't have to stay for overtime. Hoping so, I have needed it for a week now but have been crazy busy at work. Hope y'all have a great day and stay positive.

Yep... she went about it in a dastardly way, too! She does all kinds of things like that for me, so now I feel obligated. I washed the bed linen yesterday and I even do the dishes when I dirty them! LOL

I too change our sheets and keep the kitchen clean- she works full time and I am retired. Today is her 53rd Birthday and I am sailing clean. Gave her a funny card this morning. We don't do presents with each other. Easy peasey so far and all I have to do is pick-up dinner tonight without f'ing up and I'm home free!

I have also traded in my man card for housekeeper status...

any cooking in this house...I do

any bathroom cleaning...I do

any kitchen counters and cabinet cleaning...I do

any tiled floors cleaning in the entire house...I do

any vacuuming of carpets upstairs...I do (she does the small carpeted areas downstairs)

any patio furniture and deck cleaning...I do

I don't remember all these things on the wedding vows to which I said "I do"

she does the laundry and runs the dishwasher and clears the table of dishes...and sometimes helps to clean the pots and pans and utensils I use for cooking, but I usually clean while I'm cooking if there's some down time...and I do appreciate a tidy and clean home

It was an implied blanket statement I think. We spilt so far. I do most of the cooking. She does most of the cleaning. She does all of the remodeling design. I do all of the remodeling labor
