So far we've had apples, carrots, and a frozen pizza. Grocery store got me for $160. Everything's so damn expensive! Granted, $60 of that was beer. Which is half gone already will need to pickup more.

I dont think there's gonna be much restaurant exploration. I wanna hit a Thai/ sushi place within walking distance but wife n boy won't eat it. Not gonna stop me tho. Planning on that for dinner and get wife n boy something else from somewhere else.

Tomorrow gonna be a full day at the camper show. Sunday gonna stay around here, might do lunch and dinner at restaurants.

Beach seems fair game. Weather's just not quite nice enough to sit out there. Sunday is our lounge day, if imma have a smoke it'll be then. Gonna hit Desoto park and explore a bit, then a late lunch and enjoy the resort and beach. But I'm not pushing for it since I got my drug test in 2 weeks. Not much risk for one smoke 2 weeks out but if it doesn't happen I won't be sad.

My first time touching Atlantic Ocean today. Ive seen it on the road, but never got my feet wet. Gulf is cold.

Lady at the car rental counter was from Gary, IN. She was talking to me asking why I was down here etc and then said "you don't look like you'll fit in a subcompact so I upgraded you to a Kia Forte" awesome.

I grew up driving a CRX, even tho I drive a gigantic truck, tiny cars dont bother me but was a nice chat and free upgrade. She was born at the hospital i used to work at and grew up down the street from where I stayed a year while going to school at IU Gary. Family split and she ended up in Tampa with half her siblings the other half still in Indiana.

Still Friday in the best part of the nation. (The central part).

Started some of the required testing for livestock hauling today, felt like a caveman trying to type on the keyboard for the computer. It’s probably been a good 10-12 years since I’ve used one.

Good Morning all. Went to bed at 9pm. So now I'm up at 4am. Yay.... the cat is thrilled! My eye is keeping me from sleeping. Never had a black eye before and mine is UGLY and painful. Got a bunch of stitches in so I can barely open it at all. Looking through one eye all week has given me a huge headache. I don't care what the doctor says for the next one. I'm getting some good drugs. Tylenol isn't cutting it.

Join the VHerf tonight if you wanna see ugly. I'm talking the kind of ugly you saw when you were young and it was last call.

Boy decided 4am was time to get up. Told him to go to the other room, but it was too late for me. Couldn't go back to sleep. So now both of us are cranky. Gonna be a long day. He's sleeping on the couch the rest of the weekend.

Made breakfast. Sausage egg n cheese on English muffins. Packed lunches for the camper show. Gonna head out in 20.

Feel the lack of sleep pain. In bed by 11:00, wide awake at 3:15. Finally pulled my dead ass out of bed at 4:30, made a mess of breakfast a bunch of coffee. Starting to fade.

Probably will crash just as everyone else wakes up.

Is this going to be the inauguration, that nobody came?

DEMON-RATS will not come to celebrate, because they know it's fake too. Just mail it in... can't even get the pets,or dead people to show.

Must be, cause it's going to be 'HUMP DAY'😁

SIL brought over some pancakes...first breakfast in a long time...pancakes, bacon and sausage links...usually have just black coffee in the morning...

knew there was a reason I said yes when he asked for my daughter's hand...told him he might as well take all of her, a single hand is mostly useless...

Camper show took us 4 hours to walk through. Could easily make a day of it but we don't really look at motorhomes, and rushed through the salesman-heavy spots. It started getting PACKED by noon so we kinda picked up the pace then too, not waiting in lines to walk through a camper.

Good times though.

Back at resort sitting by the pool. Sun's warm, but the wind is cold. Buildings block the wind here.

Surprised how cold it is here in FL. Mid 50s and windy. Still better than what I left at home, was snowing when we took off.

Rained all evening. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

January and February are always cool and rainy, but it looks like you have good weather ahead.

Rare tuna steak, stuffed grouper, crab cakes, salads with lobster, and some other stuff.

I'm uncomfortably full. That was delicious. Wife actually ate some of everything and finished off the crab cakes. I was impressed.

The boy had chicken tenders n fries...

I can smoke on the beach, but its windy and a little chilly. Would be a bit of a hassle. Plus I've got drug test (includes nicotine/cotinine) in 10 days so might as well just not bother. If the wind was calm and the air warmer, I'd take the risk. But its just not gonna happen. Wouldn't be an experience worth the risk.
