LOL. I guess we'll leave it to those that read and stay out of the fray to decide who needs that more. Remember I'm a fence post which means static and adhering to one sides propaganda rather than considering both sides.

I'm not going to relitigate everything over the last 4 years, and we had an election.... it's over. I've been clear. And I work with and implement some of those failed policies. Love him all you want. I say out with the trash.

And Biden isn't even in the office yet. There really is no need to backtrack. I've never been a Biden supporter but I admit I am no fan of trump. Awful plain awful. I got to see the ineptness of this admin up close and personal. Then add the ass aspect on top. Good riddance.

I mean, I get it if you don't like the guy, but it's hard to argue with the US being energy independent for the first time in decades, the result that had on the ability to end-around negotiate with a large segment of the Arab world to make some serious progress toward ME peace that no one was able to do previously, the record unemployment (pre-Covid), the bypassing of many stupid "traditions" like making the HBCUs beg for money every year, improvement of the physical barrier on the southern border, and renegotiation of foreign trade deals to better favor the US. I mean, maybe you think he was a jerk, but the guy convinced China to buy rice from the U.S.! Seriously, think about that.

LOL

I heard the Secret Service was looking in to some menacing phone calls to Mara Lago or whatever the eff the place is called. It sounded like a sinister old man with a vincent price laugh. Turns out it was just Jimmy Carter. At least he will die knowing he's not even close to the worst anymore.

At first they thought it might be Nixon but Nixon is several steps up from Trump and pretty safe. Other than the whole disgrace thing.

Stogie.... I'm not saying he did NOTHING good. He did and when I saw it I said it.

But as I said... I've seen the ineptness up close and personal. It's like nothing I've ever seen in my professional lifetime. And I'm tired of it. And I'm tired of all the defense of the indefensible.

Absolute worst in my lifetime. Not even close. And it was Carter I had in that slot.

Add the dispicable disgrace and I'm not sure it's a record that can ever be broken.... At least I hope not. He is in the Hall of Fame of suck.

Just stay away from Africa. Ittl be a couple years before they get any most places.

Invest in dried ice, or regular ice and the geniuses in here can be paid to dry it for you.

This should be a wake up call for anyone who thinks the government should be in charge of all your healthcare.

They cant even even give you two shots three weeks apart without failing miserably.

I can get an MRI within three weeks here in the US from Private Health Care. in Cannuckistan, you are lucky to get that scan in 11 weeks.

A friend flew from NYC to Orlando on the early bird, rented a car, drove to Daytona Speedway and got his vaccine on time, with zero hassle. He treated another friend and I to an expensive lunch and drinks on the beach- and then flew home again the same day. He has to return in 3-4 weeks to get his already scheduled booster and will hang for the rest of the week. It was totally OK that he was from another state. By the time he finishes he will probably spend a couple thousand dollars locally. That's vaccine tourism.

It varies on everything even within the US and even within Canada. I need to wait until March 1 to get in for an abscessed tooth that likely needs pulled and an implant.

I'm not arguing one over the other. I just wish either would get tis vax out and in arms. Doesn't matter how or who to me. Private can't do it it's too big of lift though.

Spoke to a guy from New Mexico at the range today, his contacts back there say COVID has hit people on the reservation really hard and with an unusually high mortality rate. I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut prisoners are getting preference for the vaccine.

Just a glimpse in to the American Indian situation and the vaccine. Some IHS facilities are relying on the Indian Health Service for their vaccine, others are getting it through their States. Some say IHS is way better than their State, others say their State is way better than IHS. Both statements are true depending where you are at. It's hard to track and follow in any systematic way. And that is not to mention the title 638 Tribally run facilities.

Not referring to IHS here but the whole thing is a mess. Our healthcare system is very inefficient when it comes to public health.

Me? It's not all Trumps fault at all but the things would have been much much better with more competence and less pure political manipulation of data and messaging (lies and deceit). The denial has been the worst part, and manipulating things to fit that denial. Well and claiming there are plans when there are not and not working on the plans to make the lie true at some point in the future.... other than that EDIT.... and there was a play book for just this thing that was thrown out because.... well .... it was the past administrations playbook so it had to be bad....

Look at Alex Azar's comments around this topic in just the last couple weeks.

so, a strong, unified, funded and staffed federal vaccination plan could have solved the disparate and myriad state and local "vaccination plans" that appear to be where the finger pointing is happening?

forget the smaller than promised/expected production of vaccine doses available...why wasn't the Defense Production Act invoked to get more doses made, involving more pharmaceutical production labs?

sure looks like nobody at the various levels of govt. were communicating and developing a vaccination plan in the 9 months they had to develop a workable one

I'm up for a vaccine on February 4th. Wife needs to get one where there's doctors so we are going to a hospital. VAMS run, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got a postponement unless Joe gets the distribution straightened out by then.

And the outgoing Feds said we had a stockpile of vaccine, while we actually had none.
