That all beers would taste heavenly!
That all whiskey would be inexpensive!
That all fish would be easy to catch!
That Cuban cigars would be readily available at ALL 7-Elevens, even if the owner was of Indian or Pakistani descent!!

Hey... MLK dreamed big (though some MF'ers don't like being judged by the content of their character) I figured I'd dream big too, in honor of Doctor King.

My fishing bruddah has a birfday tomorrow... and he bought a boat end of last year... so I had a great idea for a birfday present that I know we would both use.

Bait tank net! Of course I got a good'un... and I gave him a Cohiba Siglo III, wife made him some Pancit, and I brought some Pliny for us to have with the smoke... so all in all it was a good few hours this afternoon.

Winning post. Worth repeating.

It's a good dream but I'll settle for strong coffee at the moment.

After the morning 5 miler I'm headed to a cactus garden. The wifey decided we need to "update" our front yard with some new plants. In the old days I would just go out in the desert and dig up whatever was needed but they are all protested now and have become very expensive. Disney desert here we come.

How much do y'all pay for trash pickup?

Even if combined with other incorporated services, I want to know.

My rates went up again, now at $160/mo for 1 yd weekly pickup billed $480 quarterly and that seems too high. I think I could probably just take my trash to the transfer center myself for a lot less.

There's only one company that services my location, so I don't have a choice, but I drive past the transfer center going to work every day so maybe I just cancel home service and pay per load.

Looking for my bill, but I know it is way less than $200 a year and think it is closer to $30 - $35 a quarter

With that we get a huge garbage can on wheels, they pick up yard waste no issue, once a week pick up and if I forget to put it out on the curb often they will come up to the house to get it.
