I was off. We pay $32 a quarter, $128 a year.

edit.... wife just reminded me if you pay the year at one time its $112 a year.

We have the choice of 3 different companies all come on different days of the week.

Think I'm around $110-$120/qtr. It's with Republic but don't know where their service area reaches

When we redid my bathroom they took the old sink, vanity and toilet no question. Just put it on the curb.

They did charge me $10 once when I through away 4 mattresses and box springs plus some old drywall and framing. They called after taking is and asked if it was ok to charge me LOL

Don't pay for trash pickup at all. It's paid for by our HOA dues... those are $102 a month, but they also include like 7 different playgrounds/parks, 5 pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a clubhouse gym that is very small and I never use... TBH, I don't play tennis or basketball either.

I do use the pools occasionally, and the park near me.

Edit: They come every Tuesday to collect trash, recycling and yard waste. 3 different colored bins. If you need to do spring cleaning you can call for a dumpster once a year. They drop it off and come get it a week later. No charge.

jesus.

I think I need to carry my own trash to the transfer center.

There's only one company servicing my area, so I don't have another option. The rates have gone up significantly every year just got notice we're going from $360/3mo to $480/3mo... At least at the transfer center it's per pound, so I'll feel like I'm getting a fair rate.

Gonna call and close out our account tomorrow. I asked all my sisters and they're all well under $!00 quarterly including water and sewer. I have well and septic, and am paying over $100 monthly for just trash. And they don't take oversized items or bags outside the bin either, gotta take those to the transfer station or burn em.

Edit: SOB I'm with Republic, as they're the only one that services my area. Even though I'm in the middle of Schererville, St John, and Crown Point, I'm unincorporated so they hit me with "rural service". Same thing Comcast does, I pay $120/mo for 6 MBPS internet because I'm on "rural service". ATT doesn't service my location, I have no other option.

Our water and sewer isn't included but it is cheap.

The guy that built all the homes in this subdivision made a killing. He was the exclusive builder, his dad owned all the land and still owns the sewer system, his mom was the exclusive realtor and his wife did something or another I dunno. He had a slick operation even using scrap to make his own particle board etc. He wasted nearly nothing..... and cut corners like a summich.

I remember in town was cheaper for the water, sewer, garbage combo. Haven't had an issue with them so far on big items. Just got rid of a love seat a month back.

Given some of these other responses though, may have to shop around some

I pay about $50 a month for water, sewer, weekly recycling and trash in separate bins provided by the city. No charge for large items including building materials, beds and couches. They won't take Dodge trucks though.

Lolz. There's a junkyard locally I've brought a Dodge truck to in the past. They pay a fair price.

Might need to explore other options to get rid of this one before calling them though. Need 20k to not end up paying for something I don't have.

In related news... children in the county of po-dunk fvcking nowhere ass Texas are growing 4th arms and 2nd wisdom teeth, while losing their 3rd peckers. Authorities suspect air pollution, sewage backups or a melamine contaminated batch of Chinese produced instant mac and cheese, but they are not ruling out sunlight, water and textbooks yet.

Our water bill is about $63 a month, depending on water use.

Water $13.51
Sewer $23.59 Got to pay for the huge sewage plant the city thought their industrial park would pay for.
Stormwater $05.00
Trash $19.50
Custom Light Fee $02.30 Our neighborhood has non standard street lighting poles, basically another tax they city can raise at will.

Good Morning!
