Ordered a gasket set for the snowblower. Before I shoveled i attempted to fix it bt I bought the wrong parts.

Just got done shoveling the driveway.

Mine's still plugging away, other than a brief period where I sucked up some Xmas lights. It tried hard to spit those through though

So came across a couple of decent priced lots and took a chance. Order processed, shipped, and showed up 3 days later with no issues. Don't tell the legions of disgruntled noops. Wouldn't wanna gloat

Wife and I discussed Valentine's Day plan. She's cooking me sausage, eggs and pancakes for breakfast. I'm cooking prime ribeyes for dinner.

My son said his restaurant was booked for the day way early. Then they started booking Saturday and Monday, too. He said valentine's day is like the super bowl for Italian restaurants. HA!

Texas Brothers,

That is some nasty and chilly stuff you are going through. Not the right infrastructure for snow and ice.

Good luck out there.

Well, the beard is gone. We wanted to see if or how the daughter would react. She just smiled and kept hitting my face trying to pull the beard like she always does. It will grow back!

Got a hot valentines date with my truck and a rack tonight, running down south a ways with The Legend (I call him that because he’s been at the company like 30+ years). Load fats Monday morning to Omaha and off to Nebraska to get hogs kicker is I’ll have to load then by myself , gonna first run for me all in a snow storm and freezing temps. Getting thrown head first into the fire, but looking forward to the difficulty of the challenge.

Meet the Press...

Bunch of friggin CRYBABIES!!!

Murder rates are up 25-60% from 2019....politicians say
COVID 19 is to blame... also....lockdowns, masks, unemployment, crime is surging!!!
Drugs are cheaper, stolen guns from break-ins are hitting the street....blah blah blah ..

What about defunding the police???
Could that really be the reason?

my wife said we have a new tradition: every Valentine's Day, we'll have my SIL's mother, Diane, over for dinner in remembrance of her hubby Charlie...he died a few years ago and was a great friend to me and our family...wife doesn't want Diane to spend the day alone...

wife and Diane were best friends and colleagues when they started their teaching careers...

our daughter and their son grew up, not really close until they were young adults and going through break-ups at the same time, got together and later got married...they will join us for dinner...

I'm cooking...yay...but the choice of dishes means I'm getting some help from SIL grilling steaks...I'll be making shrimp scampi and stir fry veggies with steamed rice...

Happy Valentine's Day everybody...

(funny how new traditions seem to mean I do the cooking)

Eggs, pancakes and sausage for breakfast. I cooked the eggs n sausage, wife cooked the pancakes.

I'll be cooking some prime ribeyes in the sous vide and then charring them on the grill.

Annual physical Monday. Fatty ribeye should really help my cholesterol numbers... Sarcasm

Woke up hung over. Don't remember drinking that much, but I guess that's why I don't remember it.

Got some brats in the fridge I need to grill. Just haven't gotten to it cause the grill is entirely under snow and I don't wanna clear it off.

My ass is still bruised and hurts. Color's fading from reddish purple to a brownish yellow.

Good Feast of Saint Valentine Day, Morning!

Valentine cards exchanged and the usual steel cut oatmeal with sour cherries done, it's all about coffee now.

My wife is not a fan of catfish. She likes tilapia, though... and she loves tuna, yellowtail, grouper, and rockfish.

ThumpUp There is no comparison between salt water fish and freshwater fish, cold water trout come close.

Got my second dose of anti-rona yesterday. Feel just crappy enough today to not be able to do any chores. Took the kids to the park this morning, going to the nursery later to grab a few plants, then cooking steak and shrimp for dinner.

Congratulations! I am jealous.
How did you qualify for a vaccination? From the age of your children, I gather you aren't 65 yet. Are you medical or a teacher?
