What was the first clue that these
"So smart federal agents" used???

Was it???? The Chinese guy WEARING A FAKE 3M mask... printed on the front of the FAKE 3M BOX???

WAS IT THE fact that 3M NEVER OFFERED N95 MASKS IN PRINTED A BOX WITH A CHINESE GUY ON IT ?? IN THEIR ENTIRE COMPANIES HISTORY ?

It warms my heart that Sleepy Joe is wanting to warm relations back up with them (with absolutely NO ties to any $) since they’re such good actors in respecting laws.

China also counterfeits airplane parts, fasteners and circuit breakers. The later in some very large sizes, including circuit breakers and bolts sold to nuclear power plants.

Woking in nuclear power plant quality assurance we had to implement extensive testing and inspection programs to keep that crap out of the plants.

Thing I don't want to know...

I live ~60 miles away from the Palo Verde nuke plant.

I will start wearing tin foil for underwear now.

You all act like China is the only country making knock off products.

Just about any manufacturing country produces knock off items,

China makes a lot and does a lot of knock off.

You're good, Bechtel, my old employer, built the Palo Verde plants. They had a good program for inspecting material and reinspecting vendor suplied plant equipment. The utilities get reports from the NRC and industry groups, about such problems so they can be proactive before the their NRC inspector inquired.

I spent three days at that plant doing a management audit. Man it was hot and dry there, gloves required to even climb a ladder.

True, but China is the expert... they will take a loss on manufacturing costs just get their hands on the "blueprints" for a product...

Once they've got that, they make all their money manufacturing the same product at the same factory using the same employees and the same packaging (with slightly altered appearances) and undercutting the market by ultimately producing a cheaper end product with inferior materials and no environmental regulation...

Crime on an industrial scale. There are Chinese fastener manufactures that will ask what markings, both grade and manufacturer, you want to have on your order. Brick wall

(with slightly altered appearances)

In this case, "a Chinese guy wearing a mask" on the box..
Vs.
A real 3 M product with a "Caucasian construction worker with beard wearing a yellow hard hat and a real 3M mask)

As a thank you for sharing your knowledge, I will recycle the aluminum foil I wrapped my boys in.

You are very right about the heat. I used a surface thermometer to take the temp of my beige painted stucco house last summer and it was 130-140 degrees. If you fall on the sidewalk/road/parking lot, you better get up fast or you get burns.

it's not just the US government setting US-China policy...

US businesses are partners in what we do there...here's an article that lists some of the biggest US companies with plants in China;

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/trade-war-watch-these-are-the-us-companies-with-the-most-at-stake-in-china-2018-03-29

this is the biggest part of "US interests" that the government is trying to protect in its relationship with China...there's too much profit at stake for those US companies to leave China and bring their businesses home...labor, production, and materials costs are much much lower there than in the US

If that’s what Teedubya said than by God he can.

Two things Teedubya doesn’t lie about:

1. Eastern Bloc BDSM/shiza porn .

2. Eating pu$$y
