Bourbon rocks.
Tried a new local bourbon, Detling, from south AL. Very nice for a young bourbon. Usual go to is Knob Creek 120.

Orange cream soda Oddly works with a cigar.

My go to drink is bourbon and ginger ale. Even nice bourbon I like it w ginger ale. Canada Dry in a can. Doesn’t taste right with anything else. I will taste a glass of good bourbon. But after I know what it tastes like I cut it w just a little ginger ale.

Try it. Bout all I drink. And cheap beer Pilsner light stuff. Never had a good craft beer I guess. They all taste super “hoppy” to me

Many of the craft beers are hoppy. They choose to brew ales and "hop it up" because if they screw it up, who is gonna know?

Much more difficult to brew a good lager. Every step of the process has to be right, or it doesn't taste good.

General rule of thumb is alcohol forward drinks (martinis, old fashioned, etc) should be stirred, despite Mr Bond's recommendation. Creamy cocktails or drinks with juice (white Russian, daiquiri, etc) should be shaken
