With some of my favorite cigars being Liga Privada T52, Davidoff Late Hour and Opus X Lost City (and Cuban Cohibas), I've come across recommendations for other cigars that come out seasonally.

In particular I am wondering the dates when these are typically released:
1) Fuente Anejo
2) Opus X Lost City
3) Any others to keep an eye on?

Also while I have your ear, I'd also be open to cigar suggestions to try (production or seasonal) based on my favorites. I'd say the heavier T52 or Nasty Fritas are my top that are more affordable and easy to get. I love the Opus X Lost City which is a little lighter, but I love because it is the closest "delicious" taste I can get to a Cuban Cohiba. Suggestions welcome on either!

I'd recommend Southern Draw Jacobs Ladder as a very good heavier smoke

If we blab the secret list of limited stuff they'd be even more limited.
But as for CAO, the basins, Orellano even the Anaconda are really good and different. - if you can get em.
The Mortal coil and Zocalo are also quite serviceable imo
But yeah the rest... Not so much
The Amazon basin grown leaf while tasty isnt a sustainable business model due to low yields of higher primings so... You're beat.
There's likely another release of Orellano coming this summer though. At least that's what Rick Rodriguez told me

Ok scratch that Zocalo recommendation.
1st half was good. Should've tossed it sooner. I'll give it complexity though as in good in the beginning bad at the end.

FTR, the CAO reference was a joke...

I mean the guy is throwing around LP, Davidoff and OpusX.

Well everyone knows the brazila gol! is the best cigar in the world so ... I figured I'd mention there are a few rare interesting CAOs

The success of it is what's driving ric to blend brazilian leaf into new limited releases.

Truth is I pretty much only smoke new CAOs when they're free.

Very few that I'd pay for knowing what I know now.

Hope Ric doesn't read this. But he knows.

I joke about it but I really like the Brazilia... Grabbed some toros to see how they compare to the Gols I have smoked.

I am realizing I really like different kinds of Brazilian wrappers. Mata Fina, Aripiraca, etc... They all just speak to me in terms of my unrefined palette.

Tatuaje usually puts out some seasonal limited edition stuff around Halloween...Monster series is an example...

Viaje does some seasonal releases around Christmas

Drew Estate (home of LP) also does limited editions based of significant dates, like the New Year release of Year of the Rat, but you prolly knew that...

Fuente generally has limited editions each year, often along their regular lines...Don Carlos comes to mind

My Father puts out limited editions regularly too...

thanks delta1, picked up a Don Carlos yesterday, absolutely fantastic. smoked an anejo tonight, and its rare for me to say this but a bit too heavy but i think the size i picked up #49 ~7.6 x 49 may have been off. was a long draw but burned great.

Try a #46, considered by many as the best vitola in the line. If its not available, try a #50.
