I am still pry considered a noob as I have only been enjoying cigars for a couple years now. But my taste has progressed within that time from starting with Connecticut wraps, then to Sungrown, and now I am really beginning to appreciate the stronger Maduros. That being said, I have some really nice Connecticut and Sungrown Perdomos I am looking to trade for some Maduro Perdomos.
I have 5 Perdomo 12 year vintage double barrel aged Connecticut Epicures and 3 Perdomo 10th anniversary box-pressed Sungrown Epicures for trade.
Looking for Perdomo 12 year vintage double barrel aged Maduro Robusto/Epicure or Perdomo Habano Maduro Robusto or Epicure.

If you wanna step out of your perdomo comfort I could trade you some well aged Padron and Fuentes 858 in Maduro instead.

You have my interest. What are the full names of the cigars you have so I can research them a little?

I'm absolutely certain I no longer plan on smoking the Connecticuts I have. In order to be sure I'm ready to move past the Sungrowns I have, I will start off by just trading the Connecticuts for now. I have the (5) I mentioned above. I paid $11 a stick for them. I would be willing to trade them for the nicest 5 of the maduros you referenced in your last message depending on their value.
If that works for you, you will have to walk me through the next steps since this is my first trade on here.

Padron are top shelf, how about I send you 2 2000, 2 3000 and I’ll do 2 of the Fuente 858 as well, these are all aged ( the padrona from 2013) and are very nice smokes. This will give you a chance to try some new high end sticks and expand your taste a little. I’ll even though in another stick or 2 for you to try just cause that’s what cigars is all about. If interested on me your addy and I can have them in the mail tomorrow. Once I have tracking info I will send it and my address to you as well.

I don't think I've ever had a bad Padron X000 stuff (the 2000, 3000 and Delicias would be my first picks). If I was forced to pick one and only one cigar to smoke for the rest of my life it would be one of these.

If you're still interested in some other full bodied stuff BigBrute, send me a PM with your address and I can put a Cbid variety pack together. The only string attached is that you send what you don't what to OpFTH.

that is usually irrelevant when you are looking for a fair trade...sometimes a trade partner may apply a higher or lower $ value to the cigars you want to trade...and vice versa...if your trading partner is an astute shopper, expecting a return of MSRP is unrealistic...ymmv

Thanks Delts! i tried to type something like this but couldn't put it into words without sounding like a jerk and that wasnt my intention because the money of it wasnt important to me. Its all good though, we got a trade and i put in some extras for him to get a few new sticks under his belt and expand his pallet a bit.

I apologize for my noobie error in my previous message. This being my first time on here, I was not sure what the proper protocol was. Drglnc has treated me MORE than fairly and has helped me learn a lot. I only hope I held up my end of the trade as best I could and hope to repay or pay forward his generosity one day.

Sampler pack ready to go. Planning on dropping it off at the Post Office tomorrow morning. Mix and match of this and that. Some regular easy to find stuff, some not so much.

Hope there's something in there that you like. If not too bad. Sent you a PM and will follow up with a tracking number when I get it.

^ This is the way.

If I were to try to tally a dollar value of what I've gotten on bombs and such, I'd probably be in the red. Many cigars I've received, I can't put a dollar value on them. I've been taken to the wood shed many times. Many that I've received, it's not the dollar value, it's the thought behind it. Some I still have from youse guys and I haven't smoked because the gift is kinda sentimental.

It's not a contest, it's a fellowship on a common theme.

That said, you all suck.

funny thing about this place...we all can have major disagreements about something or another, sometimes heated exchanges with someone....but when we meet in person, we all tend to find we share a lot of things in common, starting with having a cigar...

guys like MACS, Whistlebritches, ZRX and Drafter come to mind...we disagree on just about everything in politics...but we get along in person and enjoy each other's company...I consider them friends
