Australian cliff fisherman... skip to the 13 minute mark for the final view of the platform he installs... I've only got a slight fear of heights but this guy's videos make my stomach turn...

Not afraid of heights at all. I used to remove and replace the stack covers on the USS Sterett when I was a young sailor.

I'm not even afraid of falling... because I've jumped off cliffs and bridge trestles into water.

I am most certainly afraid of the sudden stop if I fall from a decent height onto anything.

I'm OK with heights up until about 3 stories. After that, if I'm not enclosed, I would probably be confused with a fainting goat. Thank God izon is a couple time zones away.

Not liking the heights or the amount of work to get there and fish. I hope he is using a light breakaway line, if not a shark or a really large fish could be interesting.

He's been doing it a really long time... some of his videos are significantly more tame... when he does hook into something big he uses a cliffy, which is like the claw from one of those toy machines where you try and pick up the little toys with the claw thing.... that attaches around your line, you slide it down, and it gaffs the fish...

His really cool videos are where he gets dropped on a desolate island and lives for a few days, fishing and scavenging for pocket abalone... they aren't survival videos or anything, just something Australians do...

It isn't the coriolis effect... their toilet jets point in the opposite direction. Toidies are too small a scale for the coriolis effect to matter.

Not that anyone cares...

My new toilet doesn't swirl. More like a jet blast. Oddly satisfying.

Part 2 from the ledge:

"Can you imagine jumping from here into the water? It would actually be so terrifying."

I'm terrified watching a video of this guy just standing there... I don't need to see jumping...

Undoubtedly it is too late to warn you, but it will make you as crazy as a chithouse rat.
